I started reading it and thought 'man, this guy is insane,' but then I saw the author and thought 'oh, it's only David.'

If you can't "be good" without the threat of an angry sky-faerie, you probably ought to just kill yourself now.

Good, we don't want to accidentally establish a state religion.

Atheism and humanism = filth? I can't make a logical connection with this statement. If the profession of faith of a Christian is based on truth then they have nothing to concern themselves with here because truth will endure. Perhaps their fear comes from the deep seated doubts that they have about the veracity of their beliefs. And what if there were no God? So what? The only tragedy would be the lives and living wasted on a myth.

It says "Why believe in A god" not "Why believe in the Christian god?" you dumbarse.
Why do christians a;ways jump up and down, piss and whine that atheists don't believe in their god? Are they too stupid to figure out that we don't believe in any god?

We also removed segregation and began to teach children real science. We have also eliminated small pox.
Also, if the bus is allowed to carry christian messages, then it is allowed to carry ours.
Also, we live in a society that would be considered "freaking magic" by the Jews of the OT.

OK, someone MUST explain me a thing:
why are they so pent up about prayer in school?
Doesn't the sermon of the mountain EXPLICITLY say not to pray in pubblic?

And THIS is the same David J. Stewart that now has to live in Guam (or Micronesia, somewhere) after being indicted for having sex with a minor and fleeing the country that has 'forgotten' god? They sure haven't forgotten YOU, David: Try returning to the USA (which you claim has no morality without your god) and see what happens to pedophiles.

@EVOLUTIONISALIE:
Oh, good. Quote mining from fictional books, are we?
1) Charles Darwin never wrote a book called "My Life & Letters."
2) His son
did write a book entitled
The Life and Letters of Charles Darwin; however, the first half of the quote isn't in the book anywhere--it's apparently an add-on.
3) The SECOND half of the quote IS there, but you're leaving out the rest of the quote. Since FSTDT seems not to like it when you copy and paste something big, I'll give you a link:
Clicky
I'm sure you'll jump right on it.
See...Darwin lived and died quite a bit before any early theory of genetics was widely adopted, and didn't understand the mechanisms of change. He also hadn't observed speciation, since he didn't know where or how to look for it. Fortunately, we have.
Feel free to keep quote-mining though.

To shax ~You know who is a supporter of evolution...Adolf Hitler. He claimed to be a christian but that was a huge cover up. He supported Survival of the fittest! Him and his Nazi's horrendous evil killings of the Jews. All because Hitler believed that the Aryan race "evolved" superior to all other races, which is supported by Natural Selection, Eugenics and Social Darwinism! It's called knowledge!

Cool Godwin, bro.
Where do we acquire the right to believe that man has not always been what he is now? The study of nature teaches us that, in the animal kingdom just as much as in the vegetable kingdom, variations have occurred. They've occurred within the species, but none of these variations has an importance comparable with that which separates man from the monkey — assuming that this transformation really took place.[5]
--Mein Kampf, vol. 1, chapter XI.
The fox remains always a fox, the goose remains a goose, and the tiger will retain the character of a tiger.
--Mein Kampf, vol. i, ch. xi
For it was by the Will of God that men were made of a certain bodily shape, were given their natures and their faculties.
--Mein Kampf, vol. ii, ch. x
Whoever would dare to raise a profane hand against that highest image of God among His creatures would sin against the bountiful Creator of this marvel and would collaborate in the expulsion from Paradise.
--Mein Kampf, vol ii, ch. i
From where do we get the right to believe, that from the very beginning Man was not what he is today? Looking at Nature tells us, that in the realm of plants and animals changes and developments happen. But nowhere inside a kind shows such a development as the breadth of the jump , as Man must supposedly have made, if he has developed from an ape-like state to what he is today.
