I always thought of a 5% figure, which is close to reality if one lumps homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders together.
It's disconcerting that such a vocal and aggressive part of that minority is clamoring for so-called "equal rights", yet does so by giving much flak and hate to a substantially bigger minority, christians, of which the rights ARE actually violated by the homosexual activists.
Bunch of hypocrites i say.

Tell your stories of persecution to the Christians in Darfur, India, or the Middle East. They'll be most sympathetic, I'm sure.
Christians and their persecution complexes...never ends, does it?
And Christians will never be a minority.
Here's a math question for all the Rapture Retards: Is 75 or 80% MORE than half, or LESS than half?
If you have any math skills, your answer should be MORE, therefore Christians cannot be a minority, they are a MAJORITY.
And as a majority, is your right to practice your faith being taken away? Did you lose your right to marry? Are you harassed to death by non-christians? Didn't think so.

@Colonel Catastrophe
Just replace the word "populous" with "pious, over-bearing, manipulative, intolerant... etc."
Just plug any of those in there.
100% accurate statement, as far as I'm concerned.
I not really sure you should be 'lumping' homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgenders together. BUT whatever.
Christians are the majority, especially in America, where I assume you live.
How is pro-gay rights violating your rights?
Actually, the last figure I saw was that gay people (not LBGTQ in total, just self identified homosexuals) made up about 10% of the population, this number increasing to about 14% or so when various other Queer subcategories were (to use Barachem's phrasing) "lumped in"
And yeah, Christians are in NO way a minority
if one lumps homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders together.
Picture that. Hey, they might like it.
Wait a second - do they "lump" together, or "hump" together?
If Christians are a minority, why are you people always saying that the USA is a Christian country?
What do you base your 5% figure on? It doesn't come from any study I know of.
What rights of American Christians been violated? The right not to share the world with people who are different from you? I don't recall reading that one in The Constitution.
I always thought of a 5% figure, which is close to reality if one lumps homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders together.
Ignoring the fact that studies say otherwise (10% and that is people who identify as such, so the number is assuredly larger) is it safe to say that if a nuber is small enough, they can be ignored? Good to know.

So...firstly, you're admitting you are a smaller minority than homosexuals even? Well guess what? Your voice, by your own words, is irrelevant. So sit down, shut up, and let the grown ups talk.
Secondly, and more serious, you said it yourself, EQUAL rights. We are not invalidating your marriages. We are not forcing you to marry someone of the same gender. You can marry as you wish, and you can even say you don not recognize out marriages. We are just asking that the government does. That's it. That's all.
Bunch of hypocrites i say.
Only hyocrite I see is you, demanding to be observed as the only voice, and silencing any that speak against you.
"a substantially bigger minority, christians"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The only thing bigger than the empty space in your head is your persecution complex.
What figure you're thinking of is fairly irrelevant, dearie. Those who do research like this professionally say around 10 percent. Which is not that small a minority, it's one in every ten persons you meet.
What is really disconcerting, is that they have to clamor for equal rights (nothing "so-called" about that). They ought to have those rights automatically, just like the rest of us do.
Which country do you live in, where Christians is a minority? Saudi Arabia? Sweden? Human rights concern everyone and no-one's rights are violated by more people benefiting from the same rights.
The only hypocrite here is you, stupid!
When some person you've never met does something which doesn't affect you, please explain how your rights are affected. I'm sure you have some really clever explanation, but for reasons of your own you're keeping it a secret from us all.
Confused?
