OBSERVATION: Allele frequency changes due to external pressure of the environment and competitive factors.
PRACTICUMS: When we DNA test animals in controlled environments we are able to change allele frequency. We have been doing this unconsciously for millenia but have been doing it consciously for a century resulting in amazing boosts to crop and animal yields. We notice speciation in bacteria via this method since their rapid lifecycle is able to undergo thousands of generations developing various traits that we observe. We also note the universality of code indicating a single ancestor FOR ALL LIFE. The CENTRAL DOGMA applies no matter what in every single life form ever discovered.
Conclusion: We change according to our surroundings gaining adaptations as we go down our generations due to the effect of the environment on selecting individuals for success (AKA breeding). However if a split in survival strategy occurs either competition will kill of one or the other strategies... Or both will be succesful eventually causing speciation as we have observed in ring species where two species can breed with a third species and not with each other due to the separation of their allele families via a divide of sorts resulting in different allele frequencies from the ANCESTOR species which itself has maintained itself as a third discrete species.

That's the thing I really don't get about these ID folks. Their own Irreducible Complexity argument shoots their Intelligent Design hypothesis in the face. Any intelligent designer can make something simple and functional out of working parts, a truly haphazzard mishmash of crap that barely works can only be the work of random forces.

Only adding: social darwinism, that seems to have been confused for evolution, is mislead and did harm, but even then, it's not the only cause of "socially destructive movements" throughout history. Religion, on the other hand, has been around much longer and has been used to manipulate masses and justify conflict and war. Just read your Bible for many examples of it.
