The colonial powers should have never returned sovereignty to these African countries ... these people are incapable of governing themselves, and when they find themselves facing a humanitarian crisis - often of their own making - it's the West (read: White governments) they reach out to - with hat in hand!

Gee, let's see, imperialism fcuked up their countries politics, culture and society, and post colonial exploitation robbed them of any wealth and resources they had, then they became puppet regiemes during the cold war.

Not to mention many covert operatives from European and Americna governments convene in Africa as shadow forces. Making sure dictators stay loyal to the West, as we still use a lot of African Natural Resources, Europe especially.
