That Godwin is a fail of massive proportions.
Did it hurt when you pulled it out of your ass?

1. Except we know where Hitler came
2. Neither has McCain or Palin on the basis of neither of them were the president of a country prior to that.
3. Er... The germans were burning money since money burnt longer than the equivalent value of fuel.
4. We should have voted for the other guy, the one who promised failure and more of the same...
5. Obama was accepted because he was young and well spoken and bandying around new concepts since the old ones were not working.
6. Obama is not a socialist, he is right wing by most of the world's standards.
7. No. Obama has no such goal

Are you sure you want to go there? *cough*crusades*cough*

Obama probably should have mentioned this when he was at AIPAC.

"* arrived during weak economy"
Not exactly. It was near the election when the economy really tanked.

"* gained acceptance for no apparent reason"
No apparent reason? That's wrong for both Obama AND Hitler. Everyone had a reason to support both. Germany was wrecked from the Treaty of Versailles and Hitler did indeed promise Germany would rise again. He also scapegoated the Jews and gave the German people a common enemy to rally against. For Obama, everyone was sick and tired of 8 miserable years of the GOP and enjoyed the thought of a competent, well-spoken pragmatist in office instead of a barely-literate cowboy.

"* carried plans of drastic social changes"
Yes the drastic social change of a three percent tax increase on those who make more than $250,000 per year. Wow.

"* primary goal to diminish the Jews"
Now the part where you REALLY talk out of your ass. You've been reading Joe the Plumber's book haven't you? You know that Obama favors Israel (at least I assume that's what you're referring to) and inbred dipshits such as yourself and that Plumber hack think Obama is somehow in the same line of thinking as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This is what politics in America has been reduced to: voting for the candidate people most want to have a beer with, mix in a healthy dose of irrational fear, loathing, race-baiting and xenophobia, and then invoke a little Godwin's Law and ta da, you have the GOP strategy...

Why, oh why, do fundies continue to break Godwin's Law?

I'll grant you that your first four points are attributable to Obama (although I have no idea how that compares to Hitler). Your fifth point is answered by your third and fourth points, and also to the fact that he's a great orator. Your sixth point is invalid, as he hasn't even taken office yet. And your last point is unfounded, based solely off of your paranoia.

11/28/2008 6:54:55 PM

aaa

Godwin's law, auto-fail.

"primary goal to diminish the Jews"

The fundies don't give a flying fuck about the Jews. They're just paranoid that Obama might be encroaching on their traditional territory.

When you put it that way, he sounds a lot like Jesus actually!

Actually Obama bears no more resemblence to Hitler than say Ronald Reagan who actually fit your criteria better.
#1 True.
#2 True, but more experience than George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan(not that that's any great thing, Bush is a disaster, Reagan is hugely overrated).
#3 True, who's responsibility is that ?(Hint-see #2).
#4 True, but after our current Presidunce's total incompetence and pandering to his rich contributors at the cost of eveyone else, almost anything would rank as success.
#5 False, although not being Bush at this point may be enough for many people, Obama is promising to right eight years of terrible decisions by Bush and his GOP cronies.
#6 True, (hopefully) eight years of moral bankruptcy, lying, catering to the rich and greedy, and catering to the most prejudiced of the fundie Christians has reduced us to a disaster of epic proportions, economically, scientifically, healthwise, educationally, and in attacks on our personal liberty.
#7 False the Jews voted for Obama, are you suggesting that they are voting against themselves??? Actually I know, you are a desperate GOP asslick looking for something to blame someone else with after 8 disatrous years of your hand-picked Republican fundie failure.

"Why, oh why, do fundies continue to break Godwin's Law?"

Actually--and I apologize for possibly appearing to defend a RR-tard, even though I'm not--they're not breaking that law. They're upholding it by causing the probability of someone mentioning Hitler and/or Nazis to reach 1.

If a "hot-button issue" argument ever happened where no one frivolously brought Hitler into the discussion, that would be a breaking of the Godwin Law.

And let the BS flow the other direction...

* black
* born in Hawai'i

Or neither...

* Muslim

You know, he had an arguable point until that last statement. He was almost on to something. So close.

* primary goal to diminish the Jews

FAIL. Buzzardhut is the dumbest of the dumb on RaptureRetardReady. Furthermore the RR obssession with Israel is nauseating. They don't care a thing about the Jewish people (or any other people, for that matter, except fetuses and fertilized eggs), all they care about is Israel and the part they imagine it will play in getting all their dumb greedy asses raptured into their gemstone-studded mansions. Greedy, demented and self-centered, that's the Rapture Retards.

I would shocked to see something from RR that WASN'T ignorant and delusional.
