I have wondered why there aren't more suicides in unbelievers in general because life without Christ is so empty!

A classic example of modus tollens (p->q, -q therefore -p)...
If life without Christ is so empty, then there should be many suicides among unbelievers. There are not many suicides among unbelievers; thus, life without Christ is not so empty.
I have a good computer, faithful friends, a loving family, a good job, and a nice place to eat every day. I'm getting a good education at a good university. I don't know about your life, but mine's anything but empty.
they read harry potter, play pokemon, talk to members of the opposite sex, dance, pay taxs (yes another jab at kent), are alowed to talk to children, give out candy on Halloween, watch tv.......I could go on for hours...
Maybe because life without Jaysus isn't empty? Ever think of that?
Also, suicide is a stupid waste of one's one and only chance at life.
I've wondered why more believers don't, to hasten their arrival into the sweet hereafter. We believe this life is all we have, why would we want to end it prematurely? You guys are the ones that think all this is just heaven's waiting room.
Are you kidding?! Life without Christ is thousands of times better then life with Christ!
Back then, I had this morbid fear that Jesus was watching me taking a crap.
There would clearly be no point in explaining my life to you. I could tell you about the fulfillment I get from my family, my work, my friends and my hobbies. Whenever I do that, however, your lot just puffs out their chests, declares "you only think you're happy" and grins a smug little grin like you've actually proven something.
I will say this though: if I were suicidal, there are people I could talk to about it who would care. I would do the same for them. That is the benefit of putting relationships with people above an imagined relationship with a storybook character. I am sorry that you cannot understand that.
It seems to me that there are more suicides in the name of religion then lack thereof.
Also, you are a stupid douchebag, I just wanted to be clear on that point.

I have a great life. A job I enjoy doing (building/repairing/upgrading computers. And after all, if your job is something you enjoy, it's actually a hobby you get paid to do!). My other hobby being fixing/building bicycles, and cycling (20 miles is better than any drug). My book collection. My large collection of anime & manga. My social life (the friends I have in the pub, and the cycling club I belong to. My girlfriend). And so much more. Certainly a life worth living.
I enjoy life to the fullest. No 'Christ' required.
At least I don't waste my life with all that 'looking up & listening for a 'Shofar'*; waiting & praying, praying & waiting, waiting & praying ad infinitum, ad nauseam to a nonexistent invisible sky fairy bollocks, who'll suck me off (this world) that you refer to the '(C)Rapture' that'll never happen
Your call, Robin.
*- 'Shofar', sho good?
...I'll get my coat.

Indeed, Just ask those in Jonestown, Waco, Heaven's Gate...:

...oh yes, that's right. You can't. They were all believers who thought this life was so bad and not worth living, they wanted to go to the afterlife a.s.a.f.p.
Why not join them, Ruptured Retards? After all, 'suicide is a sin' is purely Catholic doctrine, not Protestant. 909 people at Jonestown can't be wrong.

@EvoPagan
"The fact that there are not should tell you something...."
And the fact that when you click the quote link, it comes up saying 'No Thread specified' speaks volumes.
Well, my life with Christ has me falling asleep crying about once a week because I just couldn't believe any of that shit and I was terrified of going to hell.
My life without Jesus is free, honest, rational and makes me feel infinitely less guilty about my two favourite things in the world: learning science and lust.
Confused?
