When immigrating to a new country, people tend to group with other people of the same ethnicity, for a sense of security, and because they speak the same language. It's not a new thing.
If you were to move to Japan or Vietnam or wherever, wouldn't you want to stick close to people you could communicate with?

It's called multiculturalism, numbnuts! The rest of us like having access to ethnic food, music, cinema, and other cultural delights.
And unless you are an Aborigine, you're esentially colonising Australia, too, just like I am.
For those not familiar with Media Watch, I can guarantee it shows no fear or favour in what it exposes in the media. I've seen it rip into the very network that it is shown on when its own news and current affairs programs don't do their homework before reporting.

Actually, they *also* colonized Australia (albeit tens of thousands of years ago).

Actually that's called travel. Afterwards you return HOME, you know. Perhaps you don't understand the concept, being of a nomadic tribe and all.

And Bigot once again proves his complete and utter idiocy by responding to a post before fully reading the content of it.

I'm Asian, I live in Australia, and normally I'd just roll my eyes and say something about how we're obviously not trying to invade this nation and that caucasians will clearly remain the majoritiy for the foreseeable future, but you know what? I really don't care to assuage the fragile feelings of bigots any more. All right then, Australia is full of Asians, and yes, we're entitled to have our own shops. If this means we're 'invading' Australia then you'd better shut the fuck up and start learning Mandarin because you're just going to have to deal with it.

Given that I am tutoring an Asian kid, whose parents want him to become more Australian (whilst not forgetting his Vietnamese background), I can categorically say: bullshit.
Ther is NO Asian conspiracy. There are simply many people seeking a better life, and conscious of the fact that they should honour the customs of their new home.
WTF is this forum? The Australian equivalent of the KKK?
