I checked the thread on Crapture Ready. It didn't take long for someone to correct Palestine to Pakistan, but he/she/it only made it worse by stating that India and Pakistan (which didn't exist prior to 1947) "have a hatred for each other that goes back centuries if not millenia."

Yes, because all middle eastern countries are the same, there is no point in figuring out where the borders are drawn. Palestine and PAKISTAN are no different than Iran and Iraq. They aren't christian right? So what does it matter?

If you replace "Palestine" with "Pakistan", this actually starts to look pretty reasonable -- there are fundies of various religions in both India and Pakistan who'd like to see the two countries at war.

Except for the obvious geography error, this might not be an unreasonable hypothesis - although given the terrorist mentality, they may not have thought much beyond " I'm unna kill me some dot-heads!"
Pakistan =/= Palestine. Palestine is nowhere near India, and pretty much an entirely different ethnic group than Pakistan/India.

To be honest, dear Zelda, I think that the Palestinians might be kinda busy fighting Israel right now. I could be mistaken though.

You know, India supports Palestine's freedom movement. It straight up thinks Israel should stop dicking about with Palestine and that Palestine should be "free" of Israeli shennanigans.
However this is PAKISTAN. The problem is Pakistan has supported terrorism DURING THE WAR ON TERROR. It's callous attitude to this has resulted in a monster which they cannot control.

Palestine is connected to India like Kermit the Frog with Little Red Riding Hood. Try connecting it with, say Pakistan. It´s a muslim country, ok, but that´s the only thing it has in common with the Palestinians.
