The fool hath said in his heart there is no GOD
And the US Constitution hath said "no law respecting the establishment of religion"
The group seeks unspecified financial damages and legal fees" What exactly has it cost you non believer's PRAY tell, that you want you're so called damage's and attorney fee's?
Strangely enough I'm in agreement with you that the damage claims are bullshit, but the law is still unconstitutional and needs to be struck dowm.
you want the almighty dollar so much, get a real job and earn it the old fashon way.
It's not about the money, it's about the principle. Laws that violate the letter and the spirit of the constitution need to be challenged.
The time has come in our Country and State for this type lawsuit to end
So you advocate further violation of the constitution by removing certain citizen's right to seek redress of percieved wrongs?
If you hate the word GOD and JESUS CHRIST as much as you say you do
It has nothing to do with anything resembling hatred for your "god" or any other fairy tale. The purpose of the Bill of Rights is to state the things that the governmant cannot do, and to ensure that the rights of the minority are protected from the tyranny of the majority. You can say that atheists/secularists hate you "god" and your christ till you're blue in the fucking face, it's still not going to make it true. The fact that you cannot or will not see that makes you seem all that more fanatical, lashing out at those who do not see the world as you demand that they should.
perhap's you would feel more at home in another Country
Why should anyone have to leave the country to placate your sense of religious superiority? Your religion is not an established state religion and trying to counter your kinds attempt to do so is an act of patriotism. If you are ot happy with the status of your religion as less than goverment overseer, then may I suggest that perhaps you should be the one looking for greener pastures rather than forcing the country to accept Christianity uber Alles
I have heard that GOD is not welcome in some Mideast Countrie's
I heard that Elvis didn't really die and that he is working at a local 7-11. Just goes to show that you can't believe everything you hear.
Let us know how you like the sand and high temperature
You do realize that the "god" of Islam is the same "god" that you worship, don't you? The middle east is not some kind of irreligious paradise, but rather area full of religious theocracies that are no less just than the one would love so dearly to impose upon the people of the US.
In the end you will see alot of breathtaking thing's come to past that you have never seen as well
For starter's the phrase is "come to pass", please learn how to properly use the english language. Now oh sage, kindly tell me what it is I am to see? I've seen many things over my lifetime that I have never seen before, some breathtaking, some less so, but if I don't now what to look for then how will I know I have seen this breathtaking thing that you have so vaguely described?
Get right with GOD, everyone
Why would I want to? If your "god" is the same as described in the bible then I dare say I have no desire to "get right" with character who is as duplicitous, narcissistic, megalomaniacal, capriciously malevolent, and tyrannical as the one put forth in your "holy" book. I dare say I have a more finely honed sense of morality than you're "god", as does most of humanity. Maybe he/she/it should consider "getting right" with them instead.
and you won't have to pray for the rock's and mountain's to fall on you and hide you from the face of GOD
Seeing as how your own holy book asserts that any man who looks upon the face of god would be destroyed then I'd have to say that you would be hiding from it also. You are using a pointless, silly, and patently useless tactic, trying to intimidate non believers with the wrath of your "god". One does not fear that which doesn't exist.
