Actually, atheists...the more one OBJECTIVELY studies geology, anatomy, physiology, astronomy and all the other SCIENCES, the more one becomes convinced there IS a God and that the universe we see is the work of His Hand

The more I OBJECTIVELY watch 'Mary Poppins', the more convinced I become that god made a mistake over the casting of Dick van Dyke as Bert, the Cockney chimney sweep with an accent as strange as that used by Meryl Streep in 'Out of Africa'.
@Jack Bauer-- Word. Even as a kid, I couldn't suspend my disbelief.
My guess is that Timberwolf has never actually studied anything.
Well, even if there is a god,
you will find that all these sciences contradict the belief of christian fundamentalists, that god has created earth (and the rest of the universe) 6000 years ago (or that he created earth and all the animals/plants in the form we see now without letting any evolution take place)
Fundy Word Redefinition Project:
objective, adj. (adv.: objectively ): in accordance with my preconceptions
Fundie argument # 45: bias
Anyone who proves your BS to be just that is obviously 'biased' and cant look at the evidence 'objectively' like you do and throw out everything disagreeing with the bible. Since the only reason andyone could disagree with you *and by extention god* is because they hate you, those 99% of scientists from every continent and culture on Earth who agree that biblical creation is ludicrous are all biased together against you.
OBJECTIVELY you say. This from someone that tries to make the reality of the cosmos fit his ready-made conclusions and answers. You might be stupid enough to go down that road but not everyone is, most people are actually objective when it comes to learning. You and your lot on the the other hand seem to be most subjective in your and their attitude towards learning.
Of course, how do we know this ?? Well, if they study the sciences and DON'T come to the conclusion that there is a God they clearly weren't being objective enough were they ?? I didn't even know there were wolves on animal farm.
Actually, atheists...the more one OBJECTIVELY studies geology, anatomy, physiology, astronomy and all the other SCIENCES, the more one becomes convinced there once was one or more gods and that the universe we see was the work of his/her/its/their hand(s).
A lower case "OBJECTIVELY" wouldn't even work in that sentence. There is nothing found in geography that isn't explainable. In fact, they're so good now they can often predict what's 10, 20 or 50 feet underground in a lot of areas.
You guys lost this argument years ago, pretending you have evidence IS NOT the same as having it
...given a specific definition of the word "objectively", you may be right.
Not my definition, though...
Objectively, you see a rock it is at least 100.000 years old. No doubt about it. Then the earth can't be 6.000 years old. OBJECTIVELY...learn the meaning, the use it.
By the way OBJECTIVELY speaking are you stupid.
Again, I ask, even if there was 100% proof that there was some creator, what proof is there that it's the Christian god? This seems to be some strange association that you make that proving a creator automatically proves that your god exists.
Actually, atheists...the more one UNCRITICALLY studies Kent Hovind's videos and all the other SOURCES OF PROPAGANDA, the more one becomes convinced there IS a God and that the universe we see is the work of His Hand

Which is why most serious scientists are religi ....no they aren't, you idiot! Knowledge doesn't work that way. The more you know about our fascinating physical world, the less you need to amuse yourself with an imaginary one.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
