(Re: Relocation camps i.e. FEMA camps)
I truly believe that most detainees will be those holding to the Christian faith and any not holding to THE PARTY propaganda. The ground work is firmly in place and awaiting orders for activation....those not going along with the changes you can believe in will be the first for 're-education', IMHO.

Paranoia strikes deep in the heartland, but I think it's all overdone - exaggerating this, exaggerating that, they don't have no fun. I don't believe what I read in the papers, they're just trying to capture my mind, I ain't worried and I ain't scared, I'm just having a good time.
I REALLY can't wait until Obama takes over, and after 4 years, when all the rapture retards are still here, I want pictures, PICTURES DAMN IT! I can't wait to see their faces when they realize that all their bullshit about Obama being the antichrist, and him eradicating christianity, hasn't come to pass, will they just give up their religion and batshit insane beliefs? Probably not, they'll just find something else, and ignorantly believe that they are right no matter what. But it'd still be funny.

I have this nagging feeling they will attribute it to the power of prayer or some other contrived bullshit.
I petition that all RR quotes be redirected to Conspiracy Theorists Say the Darndest Things from here on out.
Regardless of what these guys believe about the Bible, they have graduated to a paranoid, delusional misunderstanding of politics and society as it exists in reality.
@Dysken
Eeeyup. When their persecution delusions fail to come to pass, it will be because they prayed hard enough that God didn't allow it to happen. Not because they were insane conspiracy theorists, but because of divine intervention.
"I truly believe that most detainees will be those holding to the Christian faith and any not holding to THE PARTY propaganda."
You truly believe the rapture is going to happen too. Doesn't mean it will.
"The ground work is firmly in place and awaiting orders for activation.."
And you know this how? Did aliens or a secret government informant tell you? Or do you just believe anything you read on the internet?
My wick is trimmed, too. Wanna see my circumcision scars?
Bus seriously, folks:
A "trimmed wick" is a reference to Matthew 25:1-13. In these verses, 5 wise girls brought along extra oil for their lamps and 5 foolish girls didn't. The wise girls got to go into the orgy -- excuse me, "wedding feast" -- but the foolish girls had to go out, get more lamp oil, and trim their wicks, during which time the wedding-feast door was locked shut.
@Philbert McAdamia: I thought the same when I read this comment and author.
@ GigaGuess: Correct. persecution does not happen = divine intervention. They believe persecution abounds = Divine testing their resolve. They can't go wrong, you know.
And a Happy Holidays to our RR lurkers! It was a Pagan holiday way before you guys decided it was cool and stole it. The 'Christmas tree' is also Pagan. Come on over to the other side!
for my Pagan/Wiccan brethren: I heard AFR this morning (the old saying keep you friends close and your 'enemies' closer) about the subtle dangers of Wicca. Yeah...we're a real threat because we want to be left the hell alone. They seem to be concerned because paganism, esp. Wicca has grown leaps and bounds. Wonder why?
I think WickIsTrimmed is a reference to the parable of the wise virgins and foolish virgins. The wise ones stayed waiting for the bridegroom and weren't caught off guard - and one of the ways they stayed vigilant was to keep the wicks on the lamps trimmed so they'd still burn.
But I prefer the alternative meaning!
Edit: Ha! Tracer beat me to it, just!
@a mind far far away: Not to try and spoil the mood, but a lot of times that sort of spectacular predictive failure can cause people to leave the wacked-out fundy fringe. While most of the people probably don't leave Christianity, rapture cults do have a rather high turnover rate. The leaders at any given time will always be loud wackos, though.

I told you guys once, this was Bush's plan for the next few years but nobody told him he was only in office for two terms.
Seriously, how do you people believe such goofy shit? Sure, the Rapture belief you have probably primes you for such outlandish beliefs in other things but still, doesn't some part of you find this a bit far fetched?
What information do these idiots base their insane conspiricy theories on? No one associated with the incoming Obama administration has even suggested anything of this sort. The Christomasochism Persecution Complex is just disturbing, there should be some sort of psychiatric study do on people like this.
Next thing you know, when all this shit that they are claiming is going to happen to them doesn't happen to them, they'll be crying "persecution" because they are not being persecuted enough
@ Giveitaday
No, if it doesn't happen they'll claim they managed to hold it off with prayer. Wasn't there some nut recently who claimed a comet was going to strike the earth unless we all prayed simultaneously to prevent it? Since it didn't happen, we must have prayed hard enough.
@Elphada: AFR? Armed Forces Radio? or did I guess wrong for the acronym?
Yeah the religious right types are pretty concerned about the growth of Wicca/Paganism/Heathenism/general-New-Ageism. The younger generation is turning away because they have recognized that all the evangelicals have to offer is hate and fear. Today's youth are a little bit more concerned about silly things like environmental destruction, healthcare, governmental mis-management, and preemptive war than about who sleeps with who, or parental planning.
Edit: thought of more and was too lazy to make new post.
Christ on a bike, what is wrong with the fundies at Crapture Ready these days?! "Obamessiah", "brownshirts", "socialism", "Muslim extremism", "concentration camps", "Hitler Youth" - do they ever grow weary of being idiots?

If that's what you believe, WickIsn'tDipped, good. You fundies have used that 'You're going to Hell!' against us for so long, maybe it's time you had a taste of fear yourselves, just to see how YOU like it.
Damn, you're on to us....

Well there is evidence that Conservatives are more fearful by nature than liberals.

What's really funny is that this was done at the University of Nebraska. I'd like to find a better reference for this article though.
Oh, you wish! But we're smarter than that, you see. We know that what you truly fear, far more than persecution and hatred, is ridicule.
"those not going along with the changes you can believe in will be the first for 're-education', IMHO."
Stop it, you're turning me on. >:D

I'd like to challenge WickIsntDipped and everyone else at Ruptured Retards to look through the entirety of FSTDT's quote archives, and find just one quote by a Quaker, Amish/Mennonite, Unitarian Universalist, Buddhist or Sufi Muslim. One.
Then when they can't , they'll realise precisely why FSTDT exists.
PROTIP: Those who don't want their beliefs laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs. There's Christians among the commenters here in FSTDT. Their beliefs aren't threatened. They are secure in such. You do the maths, RR.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
