Quote# 5411

If Jesus is the person who he said he was, and truely performed the miracles the Bible says he did, then that obviouslly affirms the exsitence of God. 1)What scientific evidence exists to disprove the existence of Jesus as a man? 2)Further more, what reasoning can disprove his relation to God?

You must be on roller-skates to spin a circle that quickly.

What evidence exists to disprove I am not God waiting here incognito for one of my creation to say something this delusional so I can post a snide comment on it?

Don Herbert

HuggyBear needs to learn how science works.

This is very simple HuggyBear (but maybe not simple enough for a fundie), since christians are the ones making the claim for the existence of Jesus, it is up to christians to prove it.

Got any photos?

That's not how logic works!

Burden of proof: normal.

The trouble is that the gospel accounts, the only real testimony we have to his existence, are irreconcilable. Thus, there is, literally, no reliable evidence for his existence (which makes disproving his existence a moot point).

Ok, you disprove the existance of Harry Potter as a real wizard, and while you do that I'll rush off to watch a quidditch match

This is a bit like saying alt-history books are in fact reality, because they may have contained people or places that may have existed at somepoint or another.

Unless you have proof of any of that being true, with the exception of jesus maybe being alive at somepoint, we're all ears.
