No, I meant that in the Koran there is a description of the last days which is similar to the Bible's except that it is looking at it from the side of evil. Their Anti-Christ does almost exactly what Jesus is supposed to do in the Last Days. It doesn't name him as Jesus, but the Islamic Anti-Christ is too similar to the Second Coming for it to be a coincidence. This supports my theory that Mohamed actually did meet a spiritual being, but that it was Satan or one of his minions. After all, Satan is supposed to be able to appear as a beautiful angel.

I got banned from RR for my two replies on this thread. It's funny how they're allowed to misrepresent other's views but when someone tries to explain the real way other faiths/"answers to the question" view things, it's an attack and un-Christian.
That's right Rapture folks, Bryan4Christ is the evil AuroraMike. My balls, your mouth. Have fun now.
"After all, Satan is supposed to be able to appear as a beautiful angel. "
Or in Muhammad's case, an 8 year old little girl.
@ AuroraMike,
that's a shame, seeing as your post had actual value. I bet I could sign up there, make 200 posts saying nothing but "praise the LORD" and some freaky smiley and it'd be allowed, yet you, with actual posts, get banned.
Then again, it is Rapture Rugby.
@MichaelL
I honestly went there to have a rational discussion about my past struggle with faith (under the pretext that it was a current issue for obvious reasons) but RR is so far to the right and buried in lala land that it's impossible to get through to them. If you even remotely disagree with anything (when I said I didn't vote for McCain/Palin and told them to tone down the outright lies on Obama, whom I also didn't vote for I became an instant pariah) then you get put on probation. Yet they feel they hold the exclusive copyright on Christianity and all other interpertations are wrong.
Just check out their Apostate section. They are freakin BRUTAL against other Christians that at all deviate from RR's message. As I said on another thread, I honestly feel bad for them because of how deluded some of them are. I am happy they find purpose in the message of Jesus, real or imaginary, but some of them take it so damn far...
"It doesn't name him as Jesus, but the Islamic Anti-Christ is too similar to the Second Coming for it to be a coincidence. "
That would be because one is loosely copied from the other.
I'll let you figure out which is which.
"Their Anti-Christ does almost exactly what Jesus is supposed to do in the Last Days."
And your Antichrist behaves exactly like Jesus as well. So...what is the problem?
"That's right Rapture folks, Bryan4Christ is the evil AuroraMike. My balls, your mouth. Have fun now."
LOL!
I've spent almost as much time studying Islam and Buddhism as I did on christianity, and I can tell you, that Islamic eschatology does not work that way. Wow, I never thought I'd have to say something like that here. Now I need a shower or four.
@AuroraMike: That's one of the many, many reasons why I eventually left christianity. The followers are hateful ignorant biased fuckheads, not worth giving two shits about.
"Satan is supposed to be able to appear as a beautiful angel."
So, according to this you would be unable to tell the difference between Jesus and satan..yur screwed.
Damn, I would have loved to see this with actual responses allowed... but then, that is why I've long left a so called "all inclusive" spiritual website. All inclusive as long as you stay on the threads dedicated to the religion they've determined you are.
"Their Anti-Christ does almost exactly what Jesus is supposed to do in the Last Days. It doesn't name him as Jesus."
So they could very well be talking about Jesus and NOT the antichrist huh? They don't name him Jesus but he does things you think Jesus will do when he returns?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
