The Bible portrays a perfectly merciful and a perfectly just God. So if anyone truly wants to escape His wrath He will let them... God had to kill everyone to ensure that He could offer His greatest sacrifice, His only Son to be sacrificed for the whole world... And who are we to question God's sovereignty over life? He created and He can take it away. If you created life then you could take it away.
