And you think this is all because students aren't forced to have organized prayer sessions?

12/16/2008 10:44:43 PM

Yes, exactly. Prayer being removed from schools is exactly what caused the rise of all these social ills.

Never mind the ease at which a child can obtain drugs, guns, pornographic and violent material.

Never mind absentee parents. Never mind the abuse that fundies liek to heap upon children that cause them to lash out. It must be because teh ebil atheists took away prayer!!!oneeleven!!!

I blame the increase in population density.

Um...what?? Incoherent much?

Never mind that you can easily buy lethal weapons in your country

They chew gum because they can no longer talk to themselves?

You've never read about the beatings and assaults that happened in 19th century schools, have you?

Old Viking

I take it that you're unaware of the dramatic decrease in the number of pirates? It coincides exactly with the social problems you've enumerated.

What's noble about impelled prayer to begin with—even if you're of the matching denomination? As a churchly ritual, I can understand. Except...public schools aren't churches.

Besides, is the student really unable to pray on the way to school, or just before classes, or during lunch?

12/16/2008 11:44:26 PM

What do you think would happen if a single student refused to pray your religion's prayers?

Mob violence by the bible queers. Dat's wut I tink.

Enough with the ellipsis abuse.

Oh please, I had nuns teaching me in the 1960's. Those nuns were mean and bitter. Till the day I die I will not forget Sister Van Charles. The only weapon at her disposal was a ruler, but if she could have gotten her hands on a gun, believe me, she would have.

When I was a child I didn't understand, but now I know that is what happens to poor old celebite (sp?) women.

Doctor Whom

The teen childbirth rate in the US peaked in 1957. Now, as you were saying?

"Celibate" is the correct spelling.
Just remember that it's spelled like "masturbate."
Because, after all, the two tend to go together.

Someone introduce the "Global temperature VS Number of Pirates" chart, please...

And forcing kids to say a little silent ditty to your Man in the Sky will cure the school problems?

Wow, delusions do come in handy, don't they.

On behalf of high school students in my province, you're full of shit.
