Yes, exactly. Prayer being removed from schools is exactly what caused the rise of all these social ills.
Never mind the ease at which a child can obtain drugs, guns, pornographic and violent material.
Never mind absentee parents. Never mind the abuse that fundies liek to heap upon children that cause them to lash out. It must be because teh ebil atheists took away prayer!!!oneeleven!!!
What's noble about impelled prayer to begin witheven if you're of the matching denomination? As a churchly ritual, I can understand. Except...public schools aren't churches.
Besides, is the student really unable to pray on the way to school, or just before classes, or during lunch?
Oh please, I had nuns teaching me in the 1960's. Those nuns were mean and bitter. Till the day I die I will not forget Sister Van Charles. The only weapon at her disposal was a ruler, but if she could have gotten her hands on a gun, believe me, she would have.
When I was a child I didn't understand, but now I know that is what happens to poor old celebite (sp?) women.
And forcing kids to say a little silent ditty to your Man in the Sky will cure the school problems?
Wow, delusions do come in handy, don't they.
"today ... guns, drugs and rape and violence seem to be going really well....... "
Correlation =/= causation. Fucktard.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc, bitches. Roughly meaning "After it, therefore because of it" and is a logical fallacy that says that because an event happens after an action, it MUST have been caused by the action. This is of course false, because if your toilet blocks up after a thunderstorm, it doesn't necessarily mean the thunderstorm blocked the toilet.

I went through an entire education in public school. I never saw a single drug, gun, rape, or fight. Though one kid did get pulled out of class by the police in high school, but that was it.
We did have a significant number of suicides and accidents, but never on school grounds...
Your logic is as well constructed as your sentences. What are you trying to say? When was prayer removed from the schools? Is it forbidden to say a silent prayer before a test?
America is more religious than most countries in Europe, how come America has the highest rate of murder in the world? And isn't there laws in America that say you have to have a gun to protect yourself. Life here in Europe must be less dangerous, destpite our more secular lifestyle, we are not required to protect ourselves.
The urban legend of the chewing gum. The problem at the time were the greasers and the gangs that, yes dear, they existed at the time. The chewing gum was a problem back then and now, well, probably because it's disgusting to find it in your shoes
Confused?
