Let's see. The serpent (or devil in disguise, depending on the version) approaches Eve and tells her about the apple, trying to persuade her to take it. She argues with it first, reminding it that she's not allowed to eat from the tree. But after more persuasion on the snake's part, Eve eventually accepts and eats the apple.
Then Adam comes along and Eve offers him the fruit. Does Adam get all upset? Does he yell at her? Does he object or protest? Does he knock the fruit out of her hand? Does he remind her about God's warning?
No. He simply takes the fruit from her and eats it, without a peep of protest.
How the heck does this make him look better than her?!
