Quote# 54502

When an Atheist states that there is “No God”, I as a Christian and lover of the creative processes of God would have to agree. You see as much as and Atheist wants to be an Atheist, the premise of their argument makes them exactly what they really are: A- theist. Which leads me to believe that there are none of them!

Let me explain. The number Zero is immensely interesting just in and of itself. Saying “the number Zero” is very much akin to saying that “there is NO God”, do to the fact that Zero of its own admission is seen as the absence of numbers, however can’t be described as anything but, and its implied non-existence can’t be explained if it, and numbers, don’t exist. So in order for there to be “No” numbers, numbers have to exist, without which there would be no Zero, of which numbers it is One, as God is one, or Zero

What convoluted nit-wittery have we here now?

Hi Jude-11. If you are trying to say that there are no atheists and that I don't exist (not certain what you are saying mind), however, if that is what you are saying, then it's true. Actually, I don't exist I'm just a figment of people's imagination. So are all other atheists, so no worries there then.

By the way, how many people have you lulled in to a false sense of security with the phrase 'Let me explain', and then, whammy, brain-rupture.

Word play eh?

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination. - Douglas Adams
And since his quote makes more sense than yours, nothing exists and this is all a part of your deranged imagination.

You fail at grammar, logic and counting.

You also fail at binary, I think, but I kinda lost the thread after "Let me explain."

This has to be the worst yet on why atheists really do believe in a sky fairy. They cannot comprehend that someone would actually deny the existence of any gods, thinking that such an idea is inherent in humans from birth. This idea is preposterous. This is just as bad as those who claim that christianity isn't a religion, unless there's Constitutional freedoms involved. Do fundies have brains? No, no they don't, or if they do, they are not able to use them.

Back to kindergarten with you. Hell, even newborns can tell the difference between 'none' and 'some.'

I think you need to be born again.

Undecided

There are so many problems with this writing, including: the use of contrived folk etymology and lexical analysis as evidence in an argument; conflation of actual objects with abstract numbers, the nonexistence of an object with a null amount of objects, and the concept of existence of an actual object with that of logical existence of an abstract concept; intereference of one's own cultural biases regarding numerology and religion in associating "God" with "one", or possibly "zero"; the abuse of the conventions of the English language; the use of folk definitions for "zero", "one" and "number" in place of a more rigorous axiomatic development; and most importantly, the complete opacity with which the argument is written, making any rebuttal difficult or impossible, due to the lack of a clear thesis.
