You atheists think that you are smart
I can only speak for myself when I say I've never considered myself to be of more than average intelligence. I freely admit that I'm no mental giant, but I also freely admit that I do not have all the answers. Can you say the same?

So you say, but your characterization of atheists as a monolithic group where everyone thinks they are a genius and all want just do things solely for their own pleasure leads me to believe that you, in fact, were not an atheist, and are just saying you were one as a way to give your arguement a completely undue and false sense of legitimacy.
As a former atheist, I can tell you that YOU JUST DON'T WANT THERE TO BE A GOD.
If you were truly an atheist then you would know that that is not the case, and you would also know that you don't get to tell me, or anyone else what they believe. It doesn't matter whether an atheists want there to be a god or not, reality doesn't conform to what people what. Until there is evidence capable of proving to me that a "god" does infact exist I am incapable of beliving in one. What a person wants has no bearing on what is.
It's like your right to privacy as applied to the universe
Privacy has nothing to do with it. If "god" is incapable of giving me enough proof that he exists then I would hardly have to worry about privacy.

Your religion claims that I have free will. So you tell me you sactimonious, holier than thou fuck, If I have free will (As your beliefs claim I do) then why would the existence or non-existence of your "god" have any bearing on whether or not I indulge my own desires? And is that not, in fact, the exact same thing you are doing? Indulging in your own desire to feel superior, to feel special, to hate those you see as being lesser to yourself?
But ALL YOU REALLY HAVE is an explosion and an utterly improbable series of random occurences.
If you had been an atheist as you claim then you were apparently a very misinformed one, otherwise you would know that the words Big Bang are a euphamism for rapid expansion, and not refering to any sort of literal explosion. You should also know that in evolutionary theory "random occurences" are not at all what is being described. All you have succeded in doing is creating a strawman of what you want atheists to believe, and not what they actually do. Congratulations, that makes you a liar.

Why? The fact that you so desperatly want there to be a reason for everything doesn't mean that there is. By your reasoning then there must also be a reason that I'm an atheist.
