It's the plurality demon. It only invades fundie brains, which is much easier than invading rational ones. It means the fundie victim is incapable of consistently writing plurals correctly.
The two major symptoms, which can only be cured by exorcism, are: failure to write the final 's' at all; and including the 's' but putting an apostrophe in front of it.

While I'll the first to admit that I consider the kind of religious people you represent as inferior to me, and quite possibly idiots, far from me the idea of castrating you and your kind.
First of all, the chance still exists that your offspring may come up better than you (not a hard task at all, BTW).
Secondly, even if they end up as intelligent and open-minded as yourself, we'd still need someone to man fryers and dishwashers the world over, the right job for this type of brains.
