How about this. I know the idea of compassion will be foreign to you, but this might work, and keep the family in tact at the same time. Just leave it alone. Don't say anything, and let your family mourn in peace. Keep your beliefs to yourself. I know you're a jackass who doesn't care about other people, but this would be the best way for all. No one is infringing on your beliefs by them saying she's in a better place. And you're not huting your family by having such a mean and cruel spirit. How's that?

I don't know anything about this apart from what this horrible man has written, but perhaps a good way to discuss this awful event is by talking about how people can be very sick with a mental illness such as depression as well as with a physical illness like chicken pox; and that the children's auntie really wasn't very well at all and because of the way she was sick she couldn't get the help she needed.
I really hope this is a poe - otherwise this man should win the compassion-free christian award of 2008. He's already told his wife that her sister is burning in hell.

I think he should not only tell them about their aunt burning in eternal hell-fire, but that they too will likely end up there, particularly if they even touch themselves "down there."
(There must be some sort of psychopathology that makes people want to believe in hell. If you read the fundies, many of them positively relish the thought of the suffering of the damned. At the very least, people who believe in hell must have other, really twisted, beliefs. If anyone knows of any reputable research in the area, it'll save me a lot of googling. )
