The only thing the GLTB community wants is what most other people already have: the right to marry the person we love, the ability to walk down the street without worrying about getting murdered just because of who our boyfriend or girlfriend is. We want to be allowed to adopt a child and give him or her love and family, we want to be able to apply for a job without worrying that we'll be fired if we're "found out", and we want to work with kids without bigots assuming that we're pedophiles. What the hell possibly offends you so greatly about gays wanting citizenship that is equal to everyone else's?
If our desire for simple human rights and safety offends you, too friggin bad. This is not just "YOUR" country. It's OUR country too. GET OVER IT.
