(in response to allowing other religions to place symbols and signs at the state capitol alongside a nativity display)
Christians are the people with the least rights, and they are the majority. Atheists, Muslims, Jews and A.A. have rights, and that is because they are the people that make the most noise. God bless all of them, and have a Merry Christmas.

A.A?
Alcoholics Anonymous?

No, you don't have the least rights. Just because other religions have the same rights as you, doesn't diminish yours. Go to Saudi Arabia, China, or Iran, and then bitch about not having any rights as a christian.

A.A.? Is he seriously implying that A.A. is a religion, and shouldn't be afforded the same rights as everyone else?
and that is because they are the people that make the most noise
I don't see how any conservative christian can honestly think this. I'm surprised they can hear anybody of another religion over their bullshit that they don't shut up or calm down about. Christians, at least the conservative branch, are the loudest, most obnoxious, cult on the face of the planet.
So... wait. There's a nativity scene, there's a sign put up by the American Atheists, there's three signs mocking that sign from Christians and there's a festivus pole.
Therefore, you're being persecuted?
Seriously, what?
The loudest? I may have things all backwards. Which group is it that has all the TV and radio shows, unstinting support from the press, places of worship on every other corner, people knocking on doors and others shouting in parks? I was thinking all along it was the Christians.
Christians have the same rights as everyone else, in the US at least. If you don't like that and want more rights then come to the UK, where if you join the Church of England and can get yourself made a bishop you additionally have the ex officio right of attending and voting in the House of Lords. You could certainly make a lot of noise there. Would that suit you?
[Note to non-Brits: To be fair, most of the time most bishops in the Lords speak in support of, and vote in favour of, measures which are socially beneficial to the majority. It's really quite rare that religious ideology fixes their attitudes against the general public opinion, and even then they are not always united.]
What a fucking idiot. CHRISTIANS ARE DENYING OTHER PEOPLE THEIR GODS-GIVEN AND CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED RIGHTS.
WTF is he referring to by "A.A."? Yeah, it's a cult, but WTF?
So is the fact that christianity isn't the only recognized religion some form of persecution now? In an ideal world there would be no religious displays on any government property, but you people cry persecution when you can't have your religious displays up, and then you get your religious display but still cry persecution. Your problem isn't that christian have the least rights, your problem is with the fact that all other religions have the same rights as yours, you can't stand the idea that christianity isn't superior to all other religions in the eyes of the state.
How do these other religions have more rights than Christians? Explain please, with citations. I'll wait.
Or just admit you're a jealous hypocrite. Saves time.
I'm sorry, who put up the first display again?
What was that? It was a nativity display? But I thought Christians didn't have any rights!
Confused?
