This is why alot of people believe that all/most forms of fundamentalism are actually the same religion, regardless of the supposed derivative religion it comes from. Christian fundamentalists and Islamic fundamentalists hate eachother alot, but they're really just the same thing with different names.

Thank you for admitting what you always hotly deny, that there is a direct equivalence between muslim extremists and christian extremists. In North America, christian extremists have not killed people (well, to a fundamentalist, it's killing subhumans, not people) in large numbers for over 30 years, apart from a few isolated incidents. Hence their extreme haughtiness, even to the point of pretending the KKK never existed or somehow wasn't distinctly christian, to the point of pretending the wholesale slaughter of America's natives never happened, there never was a NEED for the civil rights movement because of evil racist fundamentalists, etc. Just read that thread and tell me that if you gave those people guns, blowtorches, and pliers, and a bit of motivation like <no food>, they wouldn't go about torturing and killing those who they only dare to harass, nowadays.
