Oddly enough, this is untrue. Not all Bible verse quoters are stupid and/or unable to think for themselves. There are some who are quite intelligent. These, of course, are the ones that use the Bible to find support for being nice to each other, not judging one another, etc.
Then, there's the rest of you, who want to use the Bible to justify everything from rejecting science to racism and bigotry. You guys ruin it for the rest of Bible verse quoters.
