All throughout the Bible there is warnings not to marry different races.

As Christians, we are to obey the Bible, not to be politically correct. The whole "intergration" movement is, in my opinion, part of the politically correct agenda that we as Christians need to stay away from. I will post about why our family believes interracial marriage to be wrong. (As a side note, last time I said anything about this I got a heap of junk from Ken Ham sent to me...I am not interested in what Ken Ham has to say...he doesn't even believe the King James Bible for starters. If you can refute what I say that's fine, I'm just not interested in what he has to say anymore because I think I've been sent it so many times I have almost memorized it haha).

Hope this helps explain my beliefs a little. By the way, I know many black friends who believe it is wrong for them to marry white people or orientals, and nobody calls them racist. It's only racist if a white person says it, as usual in this world.

Then you and your fellow Christians are free to stay away from it, and we will laugh at you like the dinosaurs you are. However, if you try and destroy more families with this fucked up agenda, and I will fight you tooth and nail. As will many, many others, no doubt.

Fine. I don't believe in your God. I don't believe in your Bible. I don't believe that who I fuck...no, I don't think I will lower myself to your level and debase these things to such a vulgar level...who I love will affect whatever, if any even exists, being that watches over us at all. I'm fairly certain that there's little that you stand for that I *DO* believe in. Now tell me why your laws and beliefs should apply to me.

I do. A racist is a racist, be they black, white, yellow, brown, purple, green, blue or polka-dotted.

I like how everyone else in the thread gave her a polite but thorough smack-down.

Also, there's NOTHING in the Bible that gives the thumbs-down to a marriage based on the race(s) of the participants. IIRC, Timothy, who was Paul's disciple, was half-Jewish and half Greek. You never see Paul complaining about it in the New Testament. And there is a verse in the New Testament that says that we are one in Christ and that to the Christian there "is neither Jew nor Greek... neither slave nor free". I'm paraphrasing there, but basically it's saying that the racial/ethnic divisions of the past, however they started, are to have NO influence in how a Christian should treat another Christian, whatever their skin color or ethnic background.

I would find this amusing if 'aussiemama' lived back in the 19th century: if she's a WASP she'd probably be coming up with bullshit reasons why her daughter or son shouldn't marry an Irish or Italian person. You wouldn't believe how viciously the Irish were hated and caricatured back in the good ol' 1800's... they were practically almost considered inhuman.

To make a long story short, people have always hated and discriminated against each other. Even various groups of white people have hated other groups of white people. Wow, what a shock.
