Do Muslims hate homosexuality? Yes. And they have no qualms about admitting it. Christians, on the other hand, try to sugar coat their hatred and bigotry, by saying dumb shit like "I love homosexuals, but their actions go against god's word", or other such things. They hide behind their religion, pretending to be all-loving, while harboring hatred in their hearts. Muslims, on the other hand, wear their religion on their sleeve, and aren't afraid to admit their beliefs, or hide the obvious. In this regard, Muslims are more repectful than fundamentalist and conservative/evangelical christians, in my opinion.

Even assuming for the moment, for the sake of argument, that Sodom was destroyed for homosexuality, that is only ONE example of God not tolerating it.

What about all the other examples throughout history and throughout the world? From cultures which totally accepted it, to individuals doing it - God is strangely silent.

Seems like tolerance to me.
