Another point that hasn't been made: We humans are endangered by global warming. Sure, we may be able to survive a global increase in temperature of 2 or 3 degrees Fahrenheit, but most definitely not 10 or more. For the same reason as the Polar Bears.
The earth, on the other hand, will have no trouble continuing to support life. Just not human life.
Changing climatic conditions often result in the evolution of new species, but also often cause existing species to go extinct. In the case of the polar bear, the climate change is happening much too fast for evolution to accommodate. Evolution occurs over thousands or millions of generations, not one or two.
If creationism were true, God, being able to see the future, would have intelligently designed creation so that either the ice caps would not be shrinking or polar bears would not be affected.

for one, if Global Warming was happening at a scale slow enough for evolutionary adaptations, it wouldn't be much of a problem
two, Evolution is not purpose-driven, so even change on the geological time-scale can lead to extinction. Just ask the Woolly Mammoth.
