Kirk Cameron's probably converted more people to atheism than Christianity.

you will wish that you had listened to the wisdom offered by a certain former-child star from the 1980s.
This is possibly the least convincing thing you could say for any cause.

Dana Plato died for your sins.

Actually, I'm a regular there, and I'm pretty sure the Rev is having one on. He's pretty funny in his other posts.

a mind far far away
Kirk Cameron, the epitome of fundy success. Too bad, he would have made a great fry cook.

"...the fact is that Comfort's point and logic were sound..."
No. They were factually and logically erroneous. But also hilarious.
"...even if the specific example he cited can be interpreted in a different way..."
If you know anything about evolution and the scientific methos... you will interpret it in a VERY different way.
"...by those whose minds are clouded by the obfuscations and lies of the devil."
Which is why fundies like to stay ignorant.

If I needed accomplished actors, I'd choose Mel Gibson. At least he has done SOME regular things(apart from the Passion of Christ)

Did you hear Kirk's latest? Apparently God designed the banana to fit perfectly up Kirk's ass!
Intelligent Design!

Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort are the best arguments against Christianity that atheists have ever had.

Did . . . did you just try to defend the Banana Argument?
It's not anti-Christian to call Kirk Cameron or Ray Comfort a fool. If I were a Christian, I'd be outraged. I'd be calling them idiots at every oppurtunity I could get for making my religion look bad. I'd make it as clear as possible that they were fools that in no way represented me or my faith.
But since I'm not a Christian, I usually just end up laughing so hard I can hardly breath. And you know why I laugh? Because they say the most stupid and foolish things imaginable. Because they are fools. And I'd be calling them fools no matter what religion they belonged to, because that's what they are.

And his work for the Lord has what to do with only kissing his wife on the set?
Or did you mean that he's an "accomplished actor", and can only "perform" on stage? Like a marionette doll he goes into hibernation once he leaves the stage, or what?
So, you'd take anyone and everyone who wants to do the Lord's work, no matter how stupid, foolish or inane they are, whether their work will turn people towards Christ or make people run for the hills? Good to know...

The "Banana thing" was nine points of stupid, fail on every single remark. That someone would come up with something so stupid in the first place shows how much crap you followers will swallow.
He then takes his idiotic concept and titles it "The Atheists Nightmare" getting our attention for the first time. It was hilarious! I thought it was a parody first time I saw it, smug Comfort spewing this ridiculous argument and Cameron nodding in serious agreement, comedy gold! Jaw-dropping stupidity!
Stick to your creationist audience Ray, like this Rev. Chauncey Grizzley idiot. It's not only your audience but your only source of income you con-man and your boy-toy
