I wish I knew more about history. What I can remember from school is one major reason for declaring independence was for the freedom of religion. I don't know how anyone can prove which religion each of the founding fathers ascribed to. I think the point was simply that as a majority they WERE religious.

Freedom of the press, freedom of religion and freedom of speech - These are (again) under attack largely by the same sources due to infiltration. This country was birthed from the protestant reformation which is why we were initially set up as a constitutional republic, with inalienable rights. If you want to more fully understand what is happening today, look at history (and Bible prophecy.)

"Freedom of the press, freedom of religion and freedom of speech"

All under attack from fundamentalist Christians

With this corrected you can add Science, History and the constitution

The problem with people like Puff1 is they think that Freedom of Religion means only that we are free to be Jesus loving Christians. They don't grasp that Freedom of Religion could be used for worshipping Allah, Odin, Zeus the FSM or not woshipping anything at all.

One last time...

It's freedom of religion, not freedom for religions you agree with.
