Quote# 55319

I have wondered why the constant attacks on religion from the atheists. Could it have something with how unhappy they are with the world? When they see others happy, does it make them jealous of our happiness?

What do you think?

But Fundies aren't happy, you are all waiting to DIE. You have this massive hard on for death to the point you don't enjoy life.

I wouldn't say atheists are unhappy with the world; rather, that they find fundies such as yourself obnoxious, overbearing, and irrational. You irritate them. And, by constantly shooting your mouths off, you make nice, easy targets.

Try shutting up sometime. They might leave you alone.

Projection much? Your lack of grammar knowledge is showing.
Who are these "others" who are supposed to be happy? If happiness is nitpicking other people's behaviour, worrying in case you've committed a Sin, praying for Jesus to come back and end the world, then I'm definitely NOT jealous of your "happiness". You can have it.

Attacks are more frequent from the fundie corner. Attacking is not asking you to explain your reason for being religious, that is just healthy curiosity. Attacking someone is saying "believe as I do or go to hell" or saying other people are evil for trusting modern science, or killing people for performing or having an abortion.

Always pitching a shit-fit about this or that latest moral outrage...yeah you people are clearly the poster children for perfect happiness.

Try saying "Happy Holidays" to one of your lot and see how "happy" they really are.

When we're not happy with the world, we try to do something to make it better.
When you're unhappy with the world, you wish yourselves somewhere else, like little children.

They're just retaliating for all the attacks you've launched at them. Do you really expect them to sit still and smile while you try to strip them of their human rights and turn their country into a religious dictatorship?

Overreacting much? Did he make a rape apologist post that I missed?

And yet, we Atheists are perfectly fine with the non-proseltysing, non-politically insinuating, non-'Turn or Burn'-ing, non-Homophobic, non-Sexist, and not-continually whining about being 'Persecuted' Quakers, Amish/Mennonites, Unitarian Universalists, Buddhists, Sufi Muslims, Wiccans, Pastafarians et al.

What do you... er, that's right: You don't think. Period.

When you see we Atheists happy, this is you...:

Certainly with our sex lives, it makes you jealous of our happiness.

And remember:

'You can never say the word 'Happiness' without saying Penis.'
