I wouldn't say atheists are unhappy with the world; rather, that they find fundies such as yourself obnoxious, overbearing, and irrational. You irritate them. And, by constantly shooting your mouths off, you make nice, easy targets.
Try shutting up sometime. They might leave you alone.

Who are these "others" who are supposed to be happy? If happiness is nitpicking other people's behaviour, worrying in case you've committed a Sin, praying for Jesus to come back and end the world, then I'm definitely NOT jealous of your "happiness". You can have it.
Attacks are more frequent from the fundie corner. Attacking is not asking you to explain your reason for being religious, that is just healthy curiosity. Attacking someone is saying "believe as I do or go to hell" or saying other people are evil for trusting modern science, or killing people for performing or having an abortion.

I have wondered why the constant attacks on atheism from the religious people. Could it have something to do with how unhappy they are with the world? When they see others happy, does it make them jealous of our happiness?
