I have certified antiques in my house that are younger than Ann "Mutton Dressed As Lamb" Coulter is...
That said, I have friends and co-workers who observe Kwanzaa. The comic strip "Curtis" has a Kwanzaa story every year, including last one. (It is actually some of the writer/illustrator's most inspired work.) I saw Kwanzaa candles in stores last year.
And, oh yeah, every holiday and every holiday tradition had to be "made-up" at some point!
