The concept of evolution goes directly against the 2 law of thermodynamics and that is simply this in a nut shell: every thing declines. Evolution says that from chaos comes order life does not work this way. Consider: you go and buy a brand new ford park it under a tree and never drive it again. what happens? Does it evolve into a new mercedes? no, it falls apart! The second law of thermodynamics!
Remember what God said after he completed creation, "It was good!"

Stop using thermodynamics when you don't understand it!!!!
Damnit, this is why I dropped out of my phd - idiots like this.
Pretty sure thermodynamics has nothing to do with biology.
Oh, and your analogy is totally false by the way.
I put a bunch of magnets near each other, they all combine into a ball. omg, they're more organized now!!!
Thus, magnetism isn't real.
You are not familiar with Physics or Biology, I take it? Thermodynamics deals with the behavior of gases in a closed system while evolution deals with living or once-living things grouped into different species.
Turning a Ford into a Mercedes would require one company either merging or buying out the other. That's Business Management - not Biology.
Neither are you familiar with your own fantasy book. Your book says that your god saw it was good and he rested. Theology causes bloody wars, you know. So, go easy on the made up shit.
That's three strikes, unfortunately.
I'm glad you asked.
Please read this FAQ .
Thanks a lot.

1. The laws of thermodynamics do not apply to living things.
2. Evolution doesn't say order comes from chaos, even by implication.
3. The car would not rust because of anything described by the laws of thermodynamics, it would rust because of the oxidation of the metal. Chemistry, not physics.
4. Comparing living things to inanimate objects is profoundly stupid.
5. Since God never existed, or created anything for that matter, he didn't say shit.
What kind of Ford? My weekend fun-car is a 1997 Ford SHO, which is a high-performance, V8 powered Taurus. Maybe it would evolve into an airplane!
But evolution doesn't work with non-living things moron.
"It was good!"
That's what she said.
Second law of Thermodynamics, closed system, planet earth does not apply, next.
Why do fundies keep using arguments that have long since been discredited and disproven?
Repeating a falsehood isn't going to make it more true.
Consider: you put a puzzle together. what happens? You can't!
No, wait.. the entropy of chemical reaction within your body offsets the entropy lost by putting the puzzle together.
As does THE FUCKING SUN YOU MORONS. LEARN TO PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY.
Thermodynamics is a study of how energy, in its various forms, affects open and closed physical systems. A car corroding under a tree is no analogy for an organic molecule replicating.
Apples and oranges, you dolt.
Funny story:
Last year I bought a 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 to be my new race car. Due to electrical issues it never ran right; it sat outside my house, ironically under a tree. Eventually I sold it and used the money to buy a 1988 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16.
So I bought a Ford, parked it under a tree, never drove it, and it turned into a Mercedes.
How about that?
Evolution says that from chaos comes order life does not work this way.
Life does work that way, since every instance of DNA replication is a process which imparts order to a "chaotic" group of molecules.
Unfortunately, you have absolutely no idea the way natural selection works. I suspect your grasp of thermodynamics is wrong, too, but I don't feel like researching it to prove it.
Remember what God said after he completed creation, "It was good!"
Actually, he said it was very good.
"Remember what God said after he completed creation, 'It was good!'"
Funny, they say the same thing about field goals.
Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid pookey bear.
The second law again. Its been awhile. Excuse me while I go slam my head against the wall.
Hey that reminds me, healing paint is being tested for use on cars. Don't know why I thought of that. Must have knocked something loose in the brain.
At risk of repeating everyone here, the earth and the things on it are not closed systems. And besides that, the second law doesn't work in biology the way you think it does. You would find it extremely difficult to grow and maintain your body if it did.
[Consider: you go and buy a brand new ford park it under a tree and never drive it again. what happens? Does it evolve into a new mercedes? no, it falls apart! ]
Evolution only applies to living things. Evolution and thermodynamics have nothing to do with each other.
Idiot.
Confused?
