The laws of thermodynamics prove the big band never happened. The astoid that supposedly hit the earth was said to have effected the world worse than ALL the worlds nuclear missles all going off at once. This astroid burnt the earth and all that was in it to a crisp. then, molted rock was flung into orbit and back to earth again (Double death!) burning the earth again! THEN, burning acid rain fell on the earth, the worse fall in history! Anything that didn't of a shell or tough skin was going to burn. This theory is impossible!!

Hum, Big Bang =! asteroids.
I understand that those events disprove your holy book (the literal interpretation at least) but they are different events.
Obviously, you don't seem to bother.
Again with the Big Band Era - I've heard some Xtian music, and sure, it sucks out loud - but denying certain genres ever happened, sheesh!
A 6000 year old earth is possible?
This meteor (I think he's talking about the last extinction event about 35 million years ago that wiped out all LARGE surface dwelling life) did'nt destroy the world. It did however severly effect the enviroment, weather patterns and messed up a lot of the water.
Smaller burrowing animals and such eeked out a meagar existance until the world cleansed itself through natural processes.
Nothing impossible about it, the area around volcanoes have been through it in our lifetime
From the forum, regarding the fundie interpretation of the laws of thermodynamics:
First law of thermodynamics (often capitalised): Impressive-sounding thing that prevents the Big Bang by means unspecified. In no way does it explicitly forbid ex-nihilo creation, and anyone who says otherwise is an atheist.
Second law of thermodynamics (often capitalised): Impressive-sounding thing that prevents evolution by means unspecified.
Also, to say that "this theory is impossible" implies that the theory itself can't be and therefore hasn't been formulated, in which case you wouldn't be discussing it. What you mean to say is that the premises and/or conclusions of the theory are impossible. Which would still be wrong.
1. 2nd Law of Thermodynamics only applies to a closed system.
2. This is not about the Big Bang.
3. This impact is the prevailing theory on the creation of Earth's Moon.
4. Life wouldn't have been killed when the massive impact created the Moon because the impact PREDATES the origin of life on Earth.

Clearly, the small-combo bop arrangement is a thermodynamically-superior optimization of groove density.
More seriously, though -- what is it with fundies pushing the idea that "laws" in science are absolute, everywhere, for all time? Seriously, that's not what the term means . It's quite possible that the laws of thermodynamics as currently framed don't quite apply in extreme time/space/matter/energy arrangements such as the immediate vicinity of the Big Bang -- much like Newton's laws don't work so well above certain speeds or below certain scales. "Law" stopped referring, in science, to absolute, unassailable knowledge quite some time ago.
"This theory is impossible!!"
Yeah, we can tell you've studied it a lot when you can't even spell words correctly when typing on a computer ("astoid", "astroid" "effected", "didn't of a shell").
. This theory is impossible!!
I like when they throw out some of the stupidest, most illogical crazy shit from out of their ass and claim it's what we believe.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
