Come on, now. If you're going to use the Slippery Slope fallacy, could you at least be a little bit original when you do so?

Good point. Nobody's started hysterically shrieking about people eventually wanting to marry a bowl of ice cream, or adopt a vacuum cleaner, or give voting rights to albatrosses. It's always "marry your dog!" I suppose it's hardly surprising, really, since parroting is the MO for the average fundie, in all walks of life - they pretty much get their personalities, morals and personal philosophies off the hook in a one-size-fits-all, and in those cases where nobody knows something, they just keep on asking each other until eventually an answer somehow arises, which is then clung to like grim death. How many times now have we seen that fucking annoying little meme bandied about, "Date the rocks from the fossils and the fossils from the rocks"?
