How about a real reason, that has evidence backing it?

My immaginary friend won't let you into his immaginary clubhouse!
2/26/2007 8:46:56 PM
I dunno, man. Satan throws some bitchin' parties.

It doesn't occur to fundies that if you don't believe in their God you don't believe in their hell, either.
2/27/2007 11:48:03 PM
Hell doesn't exist.
2/28/2007 2:46:40 AM
Sorry, had to say that.
2/28/2007 3:21:01 AM
Next arguement please.
2/28/2007 12:03:47 PM
So if I don't have god, I don't have hell? Cool.
2/28/2007 12:17:52 PM
There's no such thing as hell

Tom S. Fox
One reason why you need Zeus? Underworld ring a bell?
3/15/2008 2:23:24 PM
"ring a bell?"
3/15/2008 2:26:41 PM
Prove that Hell exists, then we'll talk.
And no "The Bible sez so" isn't proof of anything.
3/15/2008 3:56:09 PM
If hell is the absence from people like you and from a cruel and barbarous God that you believe in sign me up.
3/15/2008 4:15:37 PM
"Heaven for climate, Hell for company."
3/15/2008 4:33:12 PM
No, Satan has the air-raid siren. What? You never played Silent Hill?
3/15/2008 9:49:26 PM
So we should kiss up to god because he/she/it is powerful and will punish us if we do not. Your god is a bully, and I cannot respect a bully. I cannot respect people who kiss up to bullies either.

That's not a reason, that's extortion...or blackmail. Gah, my brain's mush today. At any rate, he makes a bad place, and then threatens all his children that he will toss them there if they dare to stray too far from him. It's spiteful, and vindictive.

I mean, yeah, Michigan sucks, but not THAT bad.

No, what is this "Hell" you speak of? I'm sorry, I just happen to live in this country called America with a predominantly Christian population, with "In God We Trust" written on all our money, so really, how can you expect me to know what "hell" is? It's not as the language we're typing in has a number of idioms that reference this "hell" and that English literature is full of allusions and references to this "hell" thing. It's not as if anyone in the history of Western civilization believed in or talked about this "hell," so there is no way that the concept has anything to do with my understanding of history. Therefore, I presume my lack of knowledge can be forgiven.
Also, if you happen to know (not that you would, especially if you speak the same language or live in the same culture I do) the answers to any of the following questions, i'd greatly appreciate if you answered them:
What's a "Heaven"?
What's a "Bible"?
What's a "Jesus"?
Who exactly is this "God" person, anyway?

I have a fever for Hells Bells, gotta have more Hells Bells
