Sterilize the woman who has had an abortion.
If a woman doesn't want children, eliminate their ability to reproduce. Their "breed" would eventually die out leaving women with genuine maternal instincts to care for the children in society. Sterilization also has the side benefit of eliminating the issue of repeat abortions.
It's always seemed like a practical solution to me.

And as a childfree woman myself, I can tell you that it is damn near impossible to get sterilised at a young age. So many people assume that we'll change our minds. Most annoying!
I have crazy maternal instincts. I want a baby every time I see one. But rationally, I know that getting pregnant would severely endanger my health, and I would probably develop terrible post-partum depression once I gave birth. I don't want to go through that or put any child of mine through that. So I would have an abortion were I to get pregnant. So fuck you.

If Christians don't want lust, chemicaly castrate them to eliminate their ability to feel it. Seems like a practical solution to me.
If fundies don't want modern society, don't let them have any. No electricity, vaccines or antibiotics. Their breed would eventually die out, leaving only intelligent people. Think of it as evolution in action.
Surgically remove the vocal cords of the woman who forces fundamentalist christianity upon her innocent children and traumatizes them with threats of hell and eternal punishment.
If a woman doesn't want her children terrorized, eliminate her ability to speak or teach. Their "breed" would eventually evolve to become more intelligent and less afraid, leaving these children with social and intellectual skills needed to effectively love and raise their own children to become confident, productive members of our society. Avoiding indoctrination also has the side benefit of eliminating sexual guilt and poisonous biblical beliefs regarding homosexuality, misogyny and racism.

It seemed like a practical solution to eugenicists as well. That same "solution" was advocated by some of the more fanatical eugenicists in the U.S. and resulted in the involuntary sterilization of Native American women who had never been pregnant, wanted children, and didn't know that they had been sterilized until several years later after numerous failed attempts to start a family.
Plus, since abortion is more aggressively advertised among racial minorities, said minorities are somewhat more likely to have abortions than white people. Thus, your "solution" to abortion would inevitably be considered racist by the rest of the world.

By the way, my mother had an abortion in 1984, because that fetus was diseased/malformed and almost killed her. She went on to have my brother and I, and she loves children. In fact, she's a pediatrician. She has a hell of a lot of maternal instinct. It's just that, you know, the malformed Sibling X fetus wasn't as important as LIVING.
a sterile woman would engage in imceasing wild monkey sex. That would not be suitable in a Christian community because it would tempt men.
