A couple of years ago, after I had been following the controversy for several years,
Controversy? What controversy?
I found myself listening to a long lecture by a Darwinist, replete with bafflegab and pretty lame examples
Evolution controversy? There isn't ANY WHATSOEVER. The only reason creotards say there's 'controversy' is in order to give the appearance of weakness to their enemies, when in reality, the scientific community, the same one responsible for your computer, does not give creationism any merit simply because there is no credible testable evidence for it.
Also, I have yet to see anyone in the world who calls themselves a 'Darwinist' whatever the fuck that is. Darwin's ideas are the basis of evolution, but evolutionary theory has come a long way from Darwin.
Finally, sensing (correctly) that I was unconvinced, he proclaimed to me, "You just don't understand how natural selection works, do you?"
Not only was he sensing you were unconvinced, he was also sensing that you're an idiot.
And suddenly, the penny dropped. What he meant was that I just don't believe in magic. I can't make myself believe in magic; I haven't been able to since I was a child. And I was no longer going to give the matter any attention. What I really wanted to know then and now is - how magic became so important a principle in science? And I think I know of at least one reason.
What the fuck? Seriously, what the fuck? Magic? That's what you think science claims is responsible for evolution? Are you fucking inbred retarded? Were you dropped repeatedly on your head by your parents?
The fucking irony in a religious idiot who requires their magical sky daddy to create the world, claiming that science relies on magic instead of evidence is just sickening.
