You don't get your sins forgiven by honoring the spirits of Christmas, or by becoming a caring and generous person. That's a guaranteed road to Hell.
At least David J. practices what he preaches.

You can be as sweet, caring, generous, and wonderful as possible and still go straight to burn in Hell in your arrogant self-righteousness.
And that's why your god and his religion is pure bullshit. He rewards blind faith and ass kissing, and punishes anything less. And if the arrogant and self-righteous are going to hell, your god should be first in line. Because there is no entity more arrogant and self-righteous than your god.

John Chapter 5.
28"Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear [Jesus's] voice 29and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.
So- faith isn't going to do it for you boy. Out of Jesus's mouth, you who evil-doers are the ones off to hell.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. EVERYTHING you don't like is a pathway to hell. Go fuck yourself.

Yeah, we get it. Good, kind, generous people go to hell if they don't properly kiss Yahweh's ass.
That's because he's a dick.

If being a bigoted, hateful fundy like David is supposed to get us to heaven, then asshole David can keep it. I'd rather be with everyone else so I don't have to listen to David's bullshit.

>> The entire message taught by A Christmas Carol is that kind, caring and generous people will have a peaceful existence in eternity; but greedy, uncaring and selfish people will bear heavy burdens of chains and sorrow forever. That is all a big lie of the Devil. <<
So, your god throws good people into hell for not bowing down and kissing his ass, and gives eternal bliss to murderers, rapists, and other awful wastes of skin just because they thought he existed.
If your god exists, he's not worthy of any sort of respect, let alone worship.
>> You'd better fall on your knees before God in repentance, admitting that you're a GUILTY sinner for violating God's holy Law. <<
In the words of Tycho from Penny Arcade:
"If there is a God, and I ever meet him, I'm just going to kick him in the balls over and over."
>> Salvation is the gift of God, based solely upon God's unconditional love, mercy and grace. <<
Yup, God loves you unconditionally... unless you don't give him a verbal blowjob every opportunity you get. Then he'll just let you burn.

Yes David we know you're terrified of the fact that you might need to be a decent human being to get into heaven.
Cause that would mean you wouldn't make the cut wouldn't it?
Only fear could make a man this loud.

Everything else has already been said, but: The spirits of Christmas are, given the times the story was written, god or his angels. So...

I am quite surprised that Davey-boy has read or watched A Christmas Carol. It doesn't even have a slumber party scene.
But then, he clearly hasn't read the gospels either.

Ah yes, "we are not saved by works", the theology of the lazy and self-absorbed.

The entire second paragraph is the sort of evangelical terrorism that dragged me screaming into the world of Christianity in 1983. It is not funny. David J. Stewart is literally a terrorist. An emotional rapist and a mental kidnapper. I seriously long for the days when men of this ilk are gone, stamped out like the destructive fire in our midst that they really are. And it is obvious to me that David is going to Fundy-Heaven... because he is far from sweet, caring, generous, or wonderful.
