Oh Jesus, give it a rest already! For the last time, Terri's thinky bits were GONE. The only thing keeping her corpse alive was her medulla oblongata and there there's no higher brain function in that slab of brain meat.

You heard wrong. The reality was, if her soul was allowed to be trapped in her body by December 31, 2007, Satan would have invaded earth, and the Rapture would have happened. All that effort, and a snazzy website and book, for nothing. I'd be annoyed too.

Um...violence and terrorist attacks have gone on since the beginning of time. I agree that Terri didn't deserve to STARVE TO DEATH (lethal injection is one thing--subjecting a human who is no longer capable of rational thought to an agonizing death is quite another), but that doesn't mean she's some sort of modern messiah.
Hell, they wouldn't even let Terri (who was a devout Catholic before her "accident") receive the Last Rites from a priest, even though she would have wanted it, because they were afraid that receiving nourishment in the form of Communion would cause her to hang on just that little bit longer. No painkillers, either. I don't care if you're pro- or anti-euthanasia, that's just horribly inhumane.

You're absolutely right. Since then, other people have died because of violence, attacks on our country, etc. Since none of that ever happened before, the only possible explanation is the spirit of death (you know, the guy in the flying lawn chair in Madonna's "Bad Girl" video).

Terri had already died. The only thing keeping her alive was our technology. You could not "feed her real food" what her "feeding tube had was a mix made in labs".
Terri was dead. All the parts of her brain that made her Terri were gone. It is sad and tragic. But she should have been allowed to die with some dignity.
Your lot made sure she died "horribly". A puppet in the eyes of the media rather than the loved one of someone.
We all have to remember, while it was the ethical thing to do, to allow Terry to die in peace and dignity, christians like torture. They wanted to watch her suffer. Just like they want to watch everyone else suffer.
She assumed room temparature years ago. Give it a rest already. The sad thing is, besides someone dying before here time, was that she became a cause celèbre for pro-life pols who descended on her corpse like so many flies.
What the fuck is wrong with you xians? Let her go already! It's bad enough that you retards won't allow euthanasia, so people like that have to die by starving to death. That's got to be one of the worst ways to go! It's bad enough that you won't allow them an overdose of anesthetic, something painless, why would you force a braindead woman to live in a body turned prison?
From what I remember, Terri's brain was literally more liquid than gray matter when they performed the autopsy. That, and I thought their were no innocents? And if there were, what about those first born Egyptians? What about all the actually born children with terrible diseases and abuse? God doesn't seem to have much of a problem with that considering how often it happens.
If God hates the slaughter of the innocents, why is it that your Holy Book has him ordering it and doing it so often?
