Intelligent Design is not science and they don't do research. ID is a prop for creationism, which is meant to take the bible as correct, when it's nowhere near being correct. All they do is distort the original hard work of real scientists and try and twist its meaning. They are contortionists par excellence. They can spin genuine science through so many hoops that the garbage that's left is unrecognisable as the product of sentience. Then the deceit and lies start proliferating in an absurd attempt to make it look as though they are actually doing worthy science. Dream on brother.
