If God's so pissed, why is he only going to show it by the tribulation? As far as the universe is concerned, it would be an insignificant and completeley irrelevent event. Now if he completely and utterly destroyed the entire cosmos (if he's that mad) all while impersonating both Laverne and Shirley at the same time I'd be impressed.
I personally think this god has a lot of room for more sin, probably a few billion years worth of sin left before he needs to act. Funny part is that he will act at the same time the sun starts to run out of fuel and when the sun starts to grow, it is god who is angry.

Wrath is a human trait, thus, by definition, an imperfection. If God is wrathful he is imperfect.

How soon? The usual Rapture Ready soon (that is, never) or an actual soon that has some meaning we can all relate to. Is it a matter of a few weeks, a few months, or a few years? Of course, to a god, a trillion years is as the blink of an eye is to us humans. So are we talking trillions of years? Can't be, humans will be extinct by then and the Earth will be uninhabitable.
Many will assume that when you say soon you mean within your lifetime. But I think it's never. Am I right? Because then you and your progeny, and their progeny and so on, can indulge in obsessive fantasy until humanity is extinct.

Fundies think God is the same petty, vengeful, egotistical, hate-filled "respect-me-or-I'll-kill-you" asshole they'd be if they had His power. This itself is proof that they invented their god.
No one, neither God nor man, is omnipotent if he or she cannot control their own anger. Acting out of anger rather than out of sober judgment is a tell-tale sign of impotence, actually. The fact that this is your conception of God says more about you than you should ever want to be publicly known.
