Yeah, you'd think that all those aliens living on other planets at the time of the big bang would have been killed in the blast.

COSMOLOGY DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!
I pointed this out to my brother and he instantly said
"They are getting dumber" and I have to agree ,just when you think you have seen the most stupid thing ever said, they come along with something even more stupid.
Once again we experience how fundies are indistinguishable from parodies of themselves. It would be inconceivable that someone (presumably an adult, and with enough IQ to write a superficially coherent sentence) could be this stupid and ignorant, except for there having been plenty of examples to the contrary.
My god, these people actually think that the big bang was a giant explosion in space that magically spit out the earth completely whole. How the fuck do you get so ignorant? I knew the basics of the big bang theory by the time I was 10/11ish... and I had learned most of the other details by the time I was in junior high... seriously, how are they so ignorant? They can't all be homeschooled... and I refuse to believe that American public schools can be this bad...
The fact that these people vote in elections scares the shit out of me. I've never facepalmed this hard before.
Well, no, because anything that existed before the creation of our universe had to be a god, so all those gods would not have been inconvenienced in the least by a big bang.
Though, some of them did complain about the noise. That set up a lot of hostility between Yahweh and all the other gods. That's why he was always having jealous fits in the Old Testament and warning the ancient Hebrews not to worship other gods, which would have made no sense whatsoever if he was the only one.
See, it all fits.
Um. There were no planets at the time of the Big Bang. No planets, no stars, no anything. There was no life, alien or otherwise. Because, you see, the Big Bang happened at the start of the universe.
I read her as "Lisa in UK" and, as a Brit, my heart went cold at the thought that such stupidity could have survived our education system.
Are these people sentient? Or do they live on some strangely mutated instinct?
What the FUCK. Is that why they can't accept the big bang, because it was just a huge explosion that created the Earth?
How god damned stupid can you be? What the hell! Are these people even living in a country with public education?
I read the thread, and it's surreal.
And I got the weirdest, weirdest feeling that the whole of RR is poes, all winding each other up, not realising that the others are poes too.
It's the only rational explanation.
@CailinBan
I am beginning to feel the same ,but I accept that this may just be me trying to find some sort of a rational explanation, that would maintain my 'faith' in humanity, for what may truly be a grand example of the irrationality and stupidity that actually exists.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
