For thousands of years every country of this world was built because of their beliefs of god. Never you will heard that a country was built by an atheist. Atheist people are just a bunch of philosophical idiots that are on denial to themselves; and they are not human beings.

Well thank you very much for completely dismissing my humanity and my honesty with myself.
Perhaps there was a reason that many (no, not all, go check out Asia) societies were built around a devotion to god(s, yes there are polytheistic societies too!).
A mind far far away - it's been translated. What esoroeg888 is saying, is "Do you have some time for me, then I'll sing a song for you about 99 balloons, on their way to the horizon."
And most of them were different gods, so that doesn't mean much.
'Atheist people are just a bunch of philosophical idiots that are on denial to themselves; and they are not human beings.'
Why do you make this sound like Step One of the Final Solution?
If esoroeg888 is an example of humanity, who would want to be considered human?
(And I still think the check box text should be changed to read, 'Check this box if you're a sentient'...)
This just in: Atheists are all actually penguins in disguise. A fundie said so, so it must be true and we all have to believe it even if there is plenty of evidence proving otherwise.
This guy needs to have an anthropology or social history book thrown at him. Preferably one of the larger, heavier kinds at a high speed.
Ahh, the old "they aint human" argument. Hitler used a similar one. Oops, there I go, fulfilling Godwins law again, lol.
Here I was thinking I was a human because I stood upright, had a mostly hairless body, and could use tools... It turns out I need to share esoroeg888's beliefs to be considered a human.
@colonel catastrophe: As I understand Godwin's Law, it doesn't really count if the person being referred to is actually sharing Hitler's ideas.
It goes like: "I think this guy is bad because he made fun of me on the internet, he's just like Hitler!" -GODWIN!
as opposed to "This guy is so fucking evil! He dehumanizes people based only on their political ideology and the fact they're part of a minority! He's just like fucking Hitler!" -OBVIOUS TRUTH!
Is that it? OK, so you've proved your ignorance, what next?
The most amusing thing about you fatuous meatheads is that you have no choice but to accept your ignoble station in life. I do sympathise with you to some extent, but, we can't choose our parents.
Everybody would like to be the offspring of decent, healthy, and intelligent parents. But I'm afraid someone's got to occupy the lower strata in society. I mean, society needs road sweepers, refuse collectors, burger flippers etc.
It's worrying to imagine what the future may bring. As automation increases worldwide, even in the military, there will be less need for the uneducated. And the days of that good old simpleton standby of providing cannon fodder for the military have long passed.
So what now dope?
Mostly fail, a fair amount of it of the epic variety.
BUT...
I cannot think of a country/kingdom/empire/nation built on a foundation of atheism, although I can think of several built on the principle of religious tolerance. Anyone with a better answer than me?
First we were wandering nomads who followed herds. No God present there.
Then we formed small bands and learned to plant vegetables and crops and had little city-states. No Gods present there either.
Then these city-states turned in to cities (like Ur and Babylong and such) and FINALLY God was tied in to life by the priest craft.
20,000 years of human existence says you're an idiot esoroeg888.
If I remember correctly, the USSR was built by atheists and around atheist principles ;)
And who knows, had Lenin survived and been in power, instead of this madman Stalin, maybe the USSR could also have been a nation where people would like to live in ;)
For thousands of years there were no exact countries as we know them today..and btw, bible has been around, as we know it today, only about 2000 years...
Kingdoms outnumbered any Christian or theocracy. Kings often insisted their people be his religion or not.
The best kingdoms had little religious control. Isn't that weird? Just the opposite of what religions claim
and they are not human beings.
For all you fundies who keep crying persecution; this, right here, is what leads to it.
"and they are not human beings"
Damn, kid, that just crossed the damn line.
To be honest, I've never heard that a country was built by a religion or religious man, either. Rome, for example, and its giant empire certainly weren't. And of course, countries run by religious means often had nothing to do with Christianity. It worked for the Ancient Egyptians, but their religion predates yours by so much that the two never even coexisted.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
