God stopped modern species from evolving on the seventh day of creation with the genetic barrier He created in certain species to keep from crossbreeding with each other. This has helped maintain the current state of evolution of life on planet Earth for the last six eras of modern evolution, which includes us humans. The only change in humans that will evolve now will be the inferior genetic changes our human scientists will make to the already perfected life forms God created, including us humans. We will regret every freak of nature we will create and may not be able to reverse what change in the course of evolution we start.

So, god creates man, and through is ignorance or weakness, man because inherently evil and full of sin, even before birth. And yet, now, because scientists are getting close to being able to do remarkable things with human DNA, we are all of the sudden "perfect", and implying that we need not be fixed? This is what we call a contradiction. And xtianity is full of them.
Yes, we know you mean humans, stop repeating it. You don't give a fuck about animals anyway, since they don't have "souls". And since when are we perfect? Make up your mind already.
(a mind far far away)

Absolutely. Couldn't have said it better myself. *smiles*

*slowly puts down his sandwich, barely managing to choke back a mouthful of bile...after looking over at the nearby Jack Daniel's bottle which he'd finished off earlier that evening and sighing regretfully, he turns back and stares daggers at Osiris*
I am off to the nearest liquor store to procure more brain-bleach. You, on the other hand, had better pray that there are no rivers anywhere nearby when I find you, else you will be living up to your legendary name very soon thereafter.
Perfect = thousands of genetic illnesses, a trachea that attaches to our esophagus, a completely inefficient reproduction system, and so on?

Life is hard.
Life isn't hard. If it is, you're doing it wrong.
Or someone else is doing it wrong and you're paying the consequences, in which case, my sincerest sympathies.
And Osiris , what is that a picture of ? Please respond in words , not images.
You sir, have perfected the art of Head-Up-Assery
Perfection is he who uses a book to think for him while spouting pure turd from the mouth :)
"God stopped modern species from evolving on the seventh day of creation with a genetic barrier."
He forgot to tell the bacteria, fruit flies, viruses, et al. Why don't you look thru the human genome and show us where this "barrier" is.
"God stopped modern species from evolving on the seventh day of creation with the genetic barrier"
And yet, when asked what this "genetic barrier" actually is, all we get is silence from creationists.

Whoa! He worked on Sunday, just as soon as it was against the rules?
So, what you're saying is that evolution is real but God didn't mean for it to happen past the species level? But humans can break the magic barrier that God put in place?
Doesn't that make humans more powerful than God?

Babies with harlequin icthyosis isn't related to cross breeding my good man, even if that ''baby'' or fetus was alive at time, it certainly isn't now. That could be a full formed baby for all we know, since it develops in the womb and thankful is detectable by ultrasound.
I have seen only couple of these cases and let me tell you, it's exactly what it looks like in that very picture.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
