Sir, I am not going to argue about this with you. You have only served to prove my point. You want proof, and you won't accept anything given to you as proof. I have seen people healed of cancer. The doctors were astounded. They could not name a cause. I have seem lame people healed. Instantly. I have met people who were so hooked on drugs and alcohol, that they could not see a way out. And God took their addictions away - instantly. I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral. I have heard so many stories of miraculous things. I haven't seen science do any of that. And it has no way of explaining it. That's proof. You will not accept it. You want to see it yourself. Sir, you will not find it where you are looking.
What's more I don't think you will ever find it when you do not want to.

The cousin raised from the dead at the funeral should have been newsworthy, so a link would help prove your case. As to the others, the fact that something happened is not proof that it was caused by God.
I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral.
And yet it did not make national news. It's also impossible, considering all what they do to a body before the funeral even takes place.
If someone came back to life at their funeral, it would have made the news. Every television channel, every newspaper, every Internet site would be reporting this.
I have to agree with what has already been said. If someone was raised from the dead at their funeral CNN and the rest of the media would have a mic hooked up to the guy, cameras rolling so fast he would probably wish he was still dead.
Seriously, if any other those things had happened it would have been reported by the news, and I don't mean the National Enquirer.

Shenanigans! I call shenanigans! Shens, I tell you!
"I have seen people healed of cancer. The doctors were astounded. They could not name a cause."
I'm sceptical.

I'm very sceptical.
"I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral."
RAISED FROM THE FUCKING DEAD?
You're a liar or a head case.
Yeah, well my cousin's friend's dog's brother's owner's hairdresser's gerbil gave birth to a gerbil with wings. That's proof of evolution.
...
I'm only acting retarded, what's your excuse?
I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral.
Gotta watch those zombie outbreaks, man. That shit'll get out of hand fast. You really ought to shoot it in the head to be on the safe side.
Silly bastard. Yeah, I'm gonna believe an entirely unsupported assertion of extraordinary events made by an anonymous twit on some internet message board. Wow, solid proof, dude.
"I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral."
That must have been real interesting considering the embalming, the sewing shut the mouth and so forth. Real fucking screamer, that must have been.
Raised from the dead at a funeral? So your telling me that someone who had been pronounced dead by doctors and even embalmed just hopped up out of the casket and walked away? Gee, good thing they weren't being cremated.
A link to that news story would be great because I know something like that had to be on the news.
"I haven't seen science do any of that. And it has no way of explaining it. That's proof."
Argument from dunno how that happened, must be god.
Okay, look, when God does something that CAN'T be explained by spontanious remission (such as, oh, fixing the AIDS crisis, providing food, clothing, and shelter for starving children, and stopping genocides), THEN I might consider your god existing. Until then, shut up - none of that stuff is miraculous.
I have seen people healed of cancer. The doctors were astounded.
I have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I am fighting it with chemotherapy. I also have family members praying for me. Guess which one I know is responsible for my tumours disappearing?
Mind you, dummies like you have told me that I have cancer because god wants to teach me something.
Fuck him and you. (I say this knowing full well there is no "him")
I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral.
And it probably went a little something like this.
"SHIT A ZOMBIE!"
"CAP IT!"
*BANG BANG!* (special thanks to Rammstein)
This guy's out of his fucking mind.
"I know a person who's cousin was raised from the dead at their funeral."
Ok, I was going to let all the other BS pass but this is major league BS!
Cancer? Spontaneous remission -- it happens, sometimes.
"Lame" people... okay, that's offensive. (And no, the ones you saw "healed" weren't really disabled in the first place. It's all a scam.)
The addicts weren't "cured", they just swapped drugs for "God".
And people don't just rise from the dead. (There are stories of people with a rare medical condition who have, however, been mistaken for dead and woken up in the morgue. Thankfully, *before* the autopsy. Does anyone know the name of that condition?)
If you read the original post the 'evidence' for someone being raised from the dead is this:
I am sure there are medical records for the person raised to life. There is a story I heard (which you obviously will believe fiction) that a man on remote island ( I can't even remember the name of it, but it was small and basically uncivilized) where a man died, and was raised back to life again. He was written a death certificate for the first time, and the man who wrote it, refused to write another one the many years later he died again.
So, that all boils down to "I heard a story that at some time in the past a person who's name I don't know in a far-away place I can't recall the name of died and then got better".
You're right, I do think it's fiction.
To be fair on the cancer one, I do know someone who had terminal cancer that went into sudden remission, so it can happen. Everything else, not so much. Lying for Jesus is still lying, gali98.
Can you present these astounded doctors, the before and after x-rays, and how long these people lived after they were supposedly healed?
Mass hysteria will make people feel better right here and now, to exert themselves, to be able to walk. Later, when the hysteria has waned, they are much worse off than before. But then the lime-light is gone and nobody care about them anymore.
Confused?
