I guess I'm feeling confused right now. I so want to go home. I'm weary... weary of what goes on in my life personally and weary of watching what goes on in the world as a whole. But then I'm also excited. I keep thinking in my heart... come on Israel and/or Iran, let's get this show on the road. I have to be honest because Jesus already knows, I get disappointed every time I read or hear the words cease fire.
And I know that's wrong because we're told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. So that's where the confusion comes in at. But I have to agree, it would be wonderful to either get raptured on Obama's big day or Israel attack Iran that day. Yeah, I could deal with one or both of those events happening that day.

I think I have to invent a new term to meet the warped thinking here. It's Bombolatry.
These people worship the nuclear bomb. They radiate hatred and embrace total annihilation of the planet for something that they believe, but others perceive as madness. In a phrase, they are no different than those who flew the planes into the twin towers. Barking mad! They probably should be put down.
Perhaps feeding to the lions was the right tactic after all. Come back, Nero! All is forgiven!
You're a bad little fundie, aren't you? Yes, you are.
Your Jesus knows so you've nothing to worry about. Soon, you'll be rapturing in those gamma rays and enjoying the light of those bombs.
If you are disappointed by a cease-fire, you are a monster.
Why don't you go over to the middle east and play shoot-em-up?
You sir are a sick fuck.. praying for Israel to be at constant war.
I dont normally say things like this, but go die in a fucking fire you doomsday cultist!

Yeah, now listen closely, sunshine: That. Makes. You. A. Bad. Person.
GTFO my planet. kthxbai
See, that's the spirit! Your Presidential candidate didn't win, but there's still plenty of death and war going on to keep your spirits up, praise Jebus!
Now calm down. Jesus told me he is very concerned about your unhappiness. He attributes it to unrealistic expectations.
@ Philbert McAdamia: The supposed rule about not ending a sentence with a preposition is observed only in formal writing. In point of fact there is no such rule. Indeed, one of the great strengths of English is the fact that we can end sentences in this manner. Many constructions would be extremely awkward if we failed to do so. When Winston Churchill was chided for dereliction in this regard, his response was, "This is a rule up with which I shall not put."
Please disregard what Miss Onderdonk told you in fifth grade.
I can understand your confusion, I mean Jesus was into warfare and killing and destruction in a big way.
Fuckwit.
@El Zorro
I, too, would love to see a permanent peace in the Middle East, one achieved through mutual respect and fair negotiations.]
I fear, however, that the kind of peace we're likely to get will be the type you find following mutual annihilation.
Your problem is pretty clear ngraham. For one thing, you are too self-focused, as evidenced by your admitted desire to see other people engaging in a brutal war. Second, you are pinning all your hopes on some else's actions, some one who has been MIA for 2,000 years. Faith is one thing, but you have ceded far too much control to be healthy.
I would suggest that you pull yourself away from your RR "friends" and start doing something productive. Finding a way to contribute to those in need is an excellent way to boost one's sense of purpose. Now, I understand that actually doing the things Jesus told you to do is a strange idea for a fundamentalist. It might even feel scary, like you are trying to earn your way into heaven. I think we can be safely assured though that Jesus will not look down on you for following his directions instead of praising him for awhile.
Oh, one more thing, Obama is the legally elected president, and he is likely to stay that way for another term: accept it. Furthermore, it is clear you consider yourself a better Christian than him. You may want to look up what your scriptures have to say on that attitude. Prepare yourself for a shock.
Confused?
