[Letter to George W. Bush]

Dear Mr. President,
Thankyou for keeping my family and I safe for 8 years. And thankyou for not selling you soul to the Devil so that people would like you. I will always keep you in my prayers. Whether you are vindicated or not you still did everything with the best of intentions. I could see your heart in your eyes. You are genuine and also is your beautiful wife. We will miss you. I am sickened by the president we have coming up. But, I also must pray for him. I hope he does not sell his soul to the Devil, but I think he already has.

Dear Mr. President,
Thank you for actively attempting to destroy the constitution for 8 years. And thank you for backing my delusional fantasies about god, the devil, and demons. I will always keep you in my prayers while I sit in my fortified bunker waiting for the return of jesus. Even though those people who claim to be sane say you were wrong I know that you were only following the bible. I could see your mania in your eyes. You are my kind of genuine christian and also so is your beautiful wife. We (I and the voices in my head) will miss you. I am sickened by the new president because he is black. But, I also must pray for him. (damn) I hope he does not let evil things like facts and evidence sway his actions when we all know that following the bible is the only proper way to run a country.

Fuck you for fucking us over for 8 years. Fuck you for the wars, the economy, and keeping your hands in the pockets of big business. Fuck you for your superstitions that caused a good bit of our downfall. Fuck you for making us look like jackasses to the rest of the world. Fuck you for not giving a shit about the poor, needy, and homeless, especially in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast after Katrina. Please shut the fuck up. Now. You are a pathetic excuse of a human being, and you don't deserve to live the rest of your life in comfort and wealth. No one will miss you. With the election of Barack Obama, we are now hopeful that someone with a brain can fix the shit you put us in. If god likes people like you, then I'm glad I'm an agnostic.

Dear Mister (former) President,

Thank you for saying things like " 'Fendin 'Merica ". Thank you allowing your treasury and federal reserve chairman to sit around with doe in headlight inaction while my well balanced stock portfolio dumped 58 percent of its value. Thank you for offering the inept, "Wall Street got drunk" (it didn't) rather than actually trying to understand the effect of tossing empty money into market forces. Thank you for not offering financial policy leadership. Thank you for short term anti-terror thinking and treating our constitution like toilet paper. Thank you for assuming that anyone critical of your administration is some sort of leftist, pro-terrorist wacko, rather than a lifelong republican like me who wonders where his party went. Thank you for creating Jesus Day. At least that offers some comic relief.
