Really good shows about the glories and mysteries of the universe that God made and then they throw it out the window with athestic or new age world view. They simply won't give God the glory. How much simpler their lives would be if they did. Does Steven Hawking really think he accoplished all he done and overcome on his own? YUP

"How much simpler their lives would be if they did."
Yes. In fact, not only would their lives be much simpler, but their science would be much simpler as well. There's no simpler explanation than the one you're providing, in fact.
Erm, no. Accepting GOdddidit is a non-answer, it leaves questions about how why, and which God did it.
Counterintuitive a it may sound, contemporary science is the simplest explanation of the natural world we have.
I cannot presume to know what and how Dr. Hawking really thinks. However, because of the advances in knowledge he has engendered, I'd say his thinking is pretty awesome.
What have you contributed to modern society and civilization, caligal?
Yes, Steven Hawking did most of it himself, no doubt he had help from his professors and fellow scientists. But the greater part of his achievements were accomplished through hard work, dedication, study and thought.
God's part in it all is non-existent, as is God. To think otherwise is a matter only of belief. And, naturally, everyone has their own beliefs or non-beliefs. Just like you, only more intelligent.
Love ya, Pule.
If gawd really wanted to help Stephen Hawking he could maybe, oh, I don't know, FUCKING HEAL HIM. What do you think, caligula?
They simply won't give God the glory.
Doesn't your god have all the glory he needs? Why is he so narcissistic?
And lay off Hawking. He's done more for humanity than any of you rapture retards ever will. You're not fit to shine his shoes.
Simpler, maybe, but not nearly as interesting.
And yes he does, because he was the one who lived his life. I think he, of all people, would be the one to know whether or not God helped him at all. Until you're in his shoes or another's with equivalently serious problems, you can just STFU.
Actually Steven Hawking is more than happy to share the credit with his coworkers and post graduate students. At this advanced stage of his disease, he would be incapable of doing any of his work without their help.
Maybe you should read some of his writings or watch a show about him.
"...Does Steven Hawking really think he accoplished all he done and overcome on his own?"
Of course not! He openly acknowledges that he has had some very good health-care providers.
Good thing, too; he'd get jack shit from your whiny little bitch of a god.
They simply won't give God the glory.
Okay, assume God's real. Assume that all the good, in this case, Hawking did was because of him. Why would giving him any credit or not matter to him at all? An all knowing being knows what he can do. An all powerful being knows what it can do. So whether the person he invisibly guided him to whatever he did acknowledges him or not would seem pretty irrelevant to me.
Barikada:
I keep reading her name as "Callgal"
Well... I guess she is waiting for Jesus to come calling?
And with all the sexual innuendo over at RR, it wouldn't be wrong to call here a call girl, would it?
To paraphrase Murphy's army rule "For every hard situation, there is a simple solution. Simple solutions are always hard. Hard solutions often prove to be impossible."
Also, strong words from someone who mispelled "accomplished".

Well he did. So did I. So did you. You're faith may have helped you along but God hinself had nothing to do with it. That's right, buddy. It's all you. High five!
Sorry, I'm practicing for a position as a motivational councilor for the mentally challenged.

And rightly so. Besides, if god is such a nice guy who helps people all the time, why did he give Steven Hawking ALS in the first place? Surely it would have been better for all if Steven Hawking DIDN'T have to suffer with ALS?
Oh. Right. The lord works in mysterious ways. My bad.
That is "Professor Stephen Hawking" to you fuckbag!
Yeah - he did it all on his own despite the raw deal he got in life. He rose above his disability and showed how such things can be inconsequential to contributing to our existence.
Thank fuck he wasn't born into your crowd - you would have prayed him to death before he could have made the difference that he has done.
"Does Steven Hawking really think he accoplished all he done and overcome on his own?"
Yes he did, actually. And with the combined thinking of his fellow scientists he's worked with. How do you think he became a Professor of theoretical physics at Cambridge University?
Not from believing in a book of fairy tales, that's for sure.
And all that, despite him suffering from Motor Neurone Disease. It certainly hasn't stopped him exploring deeper into the fields of Cosmology, and multi-dimensional mathematics.
Can you name any fundie who has revealed more about the nature of the universe we live in (and in as much detail), caligal?
And no, Kent Hovind doesn't count.
Oh, and just to rub the salt in further, a recent photo of Prof. Hawking when he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama:

How this must toast your muffins caligal & everyone else on Ruptured Retards, eh?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
