[Is everyone watching the inauguration?]
I watched pieces of it. I saw his walk before he was actually outside. Did any of you see his walk? He was walking like..... It was almost like he was thinking.... "I'm god, they love me, they actually think I'm god, they love me, I'm so good"..... It was the way he looked... Something about this man... I've had a feeling about him since I saw him at the Demo convention of 04. Not very good feelings. There may be some good things come from this man, but there will definitely be some bad things come from his also. Just not a good feeling..... This is a Spiritual feeling....

@Effrain: It's not because he's black, it's because he has a D after his name. Republicanism has become a religion to these people. They honestly believe that anyone with an R after their name is a Christian demi-god and anyone with a D after their name is a demon sent from hell. Politics in this country is very fucked up.

It's called confidence, class, and a man on his grown and sexy who just so happens to be intelligent, caring, and the right person for the job. Hopefully he won't be too corrupted by this city.

I love how they comment about they way he walked, but are not saying a damn thing about Obama getting his ass to work immediately, trying to fix the economy. That's a lot more that what I can say about Dumbya.

It worries me less than Bush's walk from eight years ago. He had a swagger that just said "I'm going to plunge this country into crippling debt, poorly defined wars, bad international relations and corporate cronyism." It's a hard walk to describe but you know it when you see it.

Aside from the fact that they talk about nearly every Democrat like this just because they don't subscribe to their Republican "religion", it's really amazing how threatened these illiterate backwoods hicks are by anyone who is educated, articulate, and intelligent. They've gotta love Bush, he's one of their own.
I watched the inauguration. I saw him walking through the building before he came out. He had no trace of a "omfg they love me lol wut" look. He looked like he had a lot of weight on his shoulders, which he does. I think he was being hit with the gravity of the situation he's starting his presidency under. You're looking forward to the stimulus check? People like you shouldn't get one.
Maybe he was just HAPPY and PROUD that his day had come, did you think about that possibility? He worked his butt off to get where he is, traveling all over the country and connecting with the people he wants to lead, letting us know he's one of us and knows what people are going through. He had a lot of help from just regular people who believed in him enough to get out and bust their asses to get him elected, and he won in a landslide. Yes, people love him, but he isn't worshiped and he's never glorified himself - he has said repeatedly that he is a symbol and that it's THE PEOPLE who make change.
We all know Obama is just a man, and I'm sure nobody is more aware of that then he is himself. You guys are the ones who can't seem to just look at him as a man - YOU are the ones who keep implying that he has some sort of demonic, otherworldly powers...so I guess that means you guys are the ones who worship him. He has every right to strut down that street if he wants to, and his wife as well. Do you not realize what a special inauguration this was? I thought I hated George Bush but you people give the word "hate" a whole new meaning. I didn't begrudge Bush looking happy on his inauguration day, for Christ's sake. You people are just so hateful, you just can't let it go for one fucking day and let him be proud. But then what the fuck should I expect from you assholes, considering you spend all day praying that something bad happens to him. If only there were a god so he could take all the harm you guys wish on others and dump it right on top of you. Now THAT would be justice.
